MYRIAD COLORS PHANTOM WORLD

Author; Sōichirō Hatano
Illustrator; Shirabi
Publisher; KYOTO animations
per the fanwiki; "An anime adaption began airing on January 2016 and finished on March 2016, also produced by Kyoto Animation."
Volume.C; 3The story's specialty is in mulling over phantoms ( entities conjured by human imagination so they're much like aberrations or youkai so to speak ) and resolving incidents brought by them which can range from anything such as an abandoned cat turning everyone in the nearby vicinity into felines or tsukinogami competing in embarrassing limbo dances.
I think that's pretty intriguing and while the anime adaptation was excellent, only volume 1 was covered ( I hear because 2 and 3 onwards jump a 180 from the initial-setting ) so wrapping up everything with a little more reading would be nice.
However far I look, no fan translations seem available for this one though the anime's reception was fairly positive. -
When it comes to the anime adaptations of this and When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace I often kept mistaking one for the other, lol...
The light novel versions might be easier to keep apart, as the token loli here was anime-exclusive and apparently what I hear the light novel for this differs somewhat from the anime in other ways too.
I wouldn't mind reading it though, but,...
...there's a big big BUT. Good luck trying to license it from KyoAni, you'll need it (no-one's ever managed to license any light novel property from them). They're the second Alphapolis...

I'd have thought of kyoto-animations to be more, well, I think the word's "accepting" so this is quite a surprise. Might as well kick this suggestion down to a limbo of being lost in the bottom of who-knows how many more to come or I can look forward to a miracle happening in 10-20 years.
