Popularity of JNC titles (from Amazon)

I've just looked up all the JNC light novels on Amazon and recorded the Kindle Store Best Seller's Rank. I have looked up the ranking of volume 1 for each series. It is quickly apparent that there is a bias towards recent releases. In a few cases of popular series, I have also looked up the ranking of the most recent volume. I did all this on 2022 March 16.
Here is the list of the current best sellers:
Even given the recency bias, there many surprises for me in there.
As an example of the recency bias, comparing the first and most recent volumes of Ascendance of a Bookworm we have ranks
and it would be surprising if volume 1 has not in aggregate outsold the latest volume. So this is a rather imperfect metric, but it is what I have.
If we only keep the cases where volume 1 was released at least 9 months ago (to reduce the recency bias) we get a short list of long-term popular titles:
Here's the data in easy to read format: <score of 1st volume>,<date of 1st volume>,<series name>, sorted from most to least popular.
Here is the full dataset. Most lines are <title>,<date of vol 1>,<rank of vol 1>. In a few cases, this is followed by <most recent volume>,<date of that volume>,<rank of that volume>. Sorry, it isn't an easy format to read.

The set of 9+ months both Arifureta and Realist Hero both have active anime seasons, which might be bumping both to the top of that list. Ascendance of a Bookworm and By the Grace of the Gods both had anime seasons in 2020; Spring and Fall of the year respectively.

@endoftheline There is a direct line of causality from the Bookworm anime to my being here, so I don't doubt the influence of anime on sales.
I just thought of another useful subset: the most recent tranche of new series. As these all started at the same time on JNC, they should be fairly equal on recency bias, so it should be a pretty fair comparison.
