Seven Seas - April 2020 survey available!

ImIlyaz

You know it
As usual, I asked for Biblia antiquarian bookshoop.
Someone needs to licence it or heads will roll.

AratashiKun

My Picks for the recent survey:

Magika (LN)
Criminale!
I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (manga)

DoubleMangekyo

These surveys are my only hope of finishing Shoujo Gensou Necrophilia.
That, and for collecting all of The Comic Artist and His Assistants.

Terrence

December survey available now.!

Terrence

January-February survey available now.

I went with:

Inou Battle
86
Zoa Hunter

(In March, I gotta go for some of the more out there titles, like that Alien possessed my childhood friend one).

myskaros

My picks this time were:

Sono Mono. Nochi Ni (LN or manga)
Tensei shitara Ken deshita (LN or manga)
Darwin's Game

Terrence

I wonder if any of the anime airing will get a bump in these surveys. Classroom of the Elite was really popular in the survey for JNC during it's airing.

There's that Senki anime and that Mardchen anime.

myskaros

@terrence Probably Grancrest Senki, yeah. Don't really see any other standout adaptations... CCS Clear Card, Darling in the FRANXX maybe, but the manga adaptation hasn't even started yet.

Rahul Balaggan

@myskaros CCS Clear Card is already licensed by Kodansha

Oh right, I probably should have known that.

Aruseus493

For this round, I requested:

Gate: Where the JSDF Fought (Manga) - Cause Sekai Project has seriously dropped the ball on this one.
Mushoku Tensei (LN) - Not a survey goes by that Mushoku Tensei shouldn't be requested.
Seitokai no Ichizon (LN) - Cause I really want.

Rosiero

I went with:

Chivalry of a Failed Knight (LN) - I will continue doing this on every survey no matter how stubborn Softbank is
More volumes of Record of Lodoss War - Seven Seas previously tweeted that it's a good idea to request these before, so I assume it's not a done deal that they'll get the whole series
Nana to Kaoru (manga) - I've heard the creator has reservations about an English version for some reason, but with the new adult imprint I figure it can't hurt to poke around.

The romance in this seems kind of interesting (quicker paced afaik).

seault

My picks were:
more Boogiepop
Dead Tube

And I can't remember the other one lol

It's cool not just because it goes more quickly but because they actually go into the difficulties of a relationship after that first step. Like, "What does it mean to be in a relationship?" "When is it the right time to have sex?" "How do I deal with my counterpart's preferences?" "How do I stop the relationship from getting stale?"

The current arc does put that element of the story on the backburner, which is unfortunate, but I hope they'll be able to get back to it once the conflict is resolved.

Terrence

The March survey is up! Go go! =D

I'll have to check my lists and see what I haven't requested yet.

Ahh, Inari Kon Kon is out in English. Back to the drawing board.

myskaros

@terrence Not sure of you noticed, but the survey format has slightly changed; they now ask for 2 manga recommendations and 2 light novels recommendations. Probably easier to sort out answers this way.

I kind of want to request some JNC titles for physical release, but it does seem like kind of a waste when we could be getting more series. However, at the same time, I've heard some pretty poor things about their first contemporary foray into LNs (Monster Girl Doctor), so maybe it would be better to just get more JNC physicals :X

Titles I suggested this month (i.e. my usual mainstays):

Darwin's Game (manga)
Hatsukoi Zombie (manga)
Tensei Shitara Ken deshita (LN)
Sono Mono. Nochi ni... (LN)
