Premium Service

I have two weeks of active service left on my premium account, yet the web site keeps telling me to upgrade and not let me read any of the content on the site. Any ideas?
-
@fueyen77 legitimate advice, have you tried logging out and in? Sometimes the token expires even though you appear to be logged in properly still.
-
@GeorgeMTO I have, tried it maybe five seperate times, refreshed the pages, cleared my cache even restarted my pc to see if it would help, but nothing. When I click on any item to read it puts me on a upgrade membership page and tries to push me to buy the yearly upgrade as my sub is still active until the 26th of this month.

@fueyen77 Can you specifically point out something you are trying to access that you should have access to (like name a series, volume and part and if you've bough the corresponding premium ebook). I've tried to access a part from a volume I've bought, something on catchup and something that's currently being translated but the only thing that triggers what you've described is trying to access a part for a series that doesn't fit the above criteria.

Oh, right, that issue.
For some reason, trying to access any former part that is currently "not available" (expired and you haven't bought that volume in premium) redirects to the "purchase or upgrade membership screen."
It's one of many things that probably needs fixed.

So is there a misunderstanding on what OP is allowed to access? Make sure you read the expiration thread to see if the volume you're wanting to read is expired. Pre-pubs (with the exception of every part 1 which are free previews) expire even for premium members within 1-4 weeks after the retail release of the full ebook, unless that member purchases that specific volume on J-Novel Club, or that series is a part of the monthly catchup.

@jpwong Sorry went outside to enjoy the sun so my reply is a bit late. I am able to open the first chapter of any light novel or manga that is ongoing, however after that it tells me I have no access even if it is a chapter from today, and it is happening on more than 15 series that I am reading and quite a few manga, I do understand that unless I own the older content I am unable to access the older content and should only have access to the current release, however that is where I have the problem I do not have access to them.

@fueyen77 You might want send them an email at support@j-novel.club since it sounds like there's a problem with your account on the backend somewhere, you might get a faster response than waiting for them to see the topic here on the forums.
There may be some delays because it sounds like most of the staff who went to AnimeExpo are now down with Covid. -
We are looking into this as we have received reports of similar issues with being unable to read content that should be available to members. We'll post about any updates as soon as we can.

@jpwong covid? bless them, hope they all recover soon. Thank you for the advice too.
