[Manga] Ruri's Gemstones
-
Alt title: 瑠璃の宝石, Ruri no Hoseki
Author: Keiichiro Shibuya
Publisher: Kadokawa (Harta Comix)
Volumes: 3 (ongoing)
Synopsis: Mineral gathering is a modern treasure hunt!Ruri, a high school girl who likes jewelry and accessories, dives into the world of mineral gathering, from mountains to rivers to caves.
In the first volume, many minerals such as crystal, garnet, pyrite, gold sand, and fluorite appear.
Panning dishes, hammers, topographic maps, and other gathering scenes using specialized tools are also full of charm.
A full-fledged science adventure based on the solid knowledge of the author who has studied mineralogy!Thoughts: Another manga, since I'm not a big LN buff. Decided to give Harta another try, and this was one of the most popular of their titles on Bookwalker so here it is. It's cute girls searching for rocks, what else do you want?

I never went as far as gathering my own anywhere other than the beach, but I used to be a rock collector (guess I still am since I brought some home this year, although I haven’t bought any for ages) so colour me intrigued.

Bump because it’s getting an anime

Could be useful to those reading D-Genesis (tongue only partially in cheek.)
I'd wonder about how well it would sell, but admit I'd be interested in it if it got licensed.
