What's up with volume 3 of Now I'm a Demon Lord! Happily Ever After with Monster Girls in My Dungeon

What's up with volume 3?
There are endless curses and profanities...
It's very hard for me to read volume 3.
Why was it written like that? -
As far as I understand, that how Yuki actually speaks (in the original Japanese), he swears a lot when he gets mad and this the first volume he is mad enough to let the profanity fly
-
Yuki is always a... less than formal speaker, to be charitable. And as Lily Garden said, when he gets nettled, his vocabulary slips down a notch from "blue collar dude" to "street punk".
-
Sure, you write that, and I understand that to a certain degree, and I've read volumes 1 and 2, too, and those were okay, but are your statements based on assumptions from v 1 and 2, or have you actually read volume 3?
-
@RobD I read the WN in the past, and it's all like that. The next volumes will be just the same. If anyone is hoping for things to improve they should just give up hope now.
I'm speaking based on the WN though. I have no idea what the author changed for the LN but, if these first volumes are something to go by, he didn't really make any big changes.

@RobD authors are like that. Quiet Blacksmith has “my cheats!” and thinking anyone over thirty is retirement age, Unwanted Undead has long boring tangents in Rentt’s mind, this and Lazy Dungeon Master have strong language. That’s why we have the “Hate on what you love “ topic.

Honestly, in volume 1 everyone loved how crude Yuki was because it was so unique.
Most people it still doesn't bug, so it might be a YMMV thing.
Still, the positive feedback probably convinced the translators they didn't need to tone it back at all.
I for one still like it, for the reason above.

@Windsagio I see. That's one way to look at it, yes.
Maybe it was just the shock.
Sometimes, a book is better when I read it another time; I'll give reading it another try in a couple of months :)
