Print editions of Campfire Cooking?

How is the decision made which series receive printed books and which are epub only? I'm a huge fan of Campfire Cooking In Another World With My Absurd Skill and I would love to buy them again as a physical book in English. I wondered if the new anime made any difference in the calculus on printing or what the criteria are.

While JNC are unlikely to ever reveal the full criteria, we do know that at least one factor is sales. The better the series sells, the more likely they'd be to consider print.
It has been a while since they announced a batch of new series getting prints though (just a couple of one off things), the print industry is pretty harsh atm, it might require some series finishing in order to get much more in there, and a long series like Campfire Cooking might not be the priority.

@GeorgeMTO I'm sure you're correct. I doubt there's a magic threshold that has to be passed. This is a business and money 100% has to play a part, and I get that. But the selfish part of me loves the characters I love and wants to enjoy it on a non-digital device and share it with my kids.
But if the J-Novel gods are listening, please hear my prayer: I want to buy every edition of these books that you deign to print. Amen.

Keep in mind we also had a discussion about how long print lead times are for books right now on the last livestream. If JNC wants to announce brand new print series, they may be waiting for those books to actually start printing before they advertise they'll be hitting shelves in a few months.
But yes, their internal metrics need to show the books will sell enough for a print run to be worth it. Sales is a factor, but also how fast those sales are occurring is important. If it takes 5 years for a book to hit their minimum sales threshold, that means something very different compared to them hitting it in a month.

That seems quite unlikely. Part of the reason the print adds such large delays is that bookstores require that large amount of notice in order to stock things, because they budget so far in advance. Giving short notice of a book's release seems like a good way to not get many sales of it.

Keep in mind that JNC is in the midst of trying to set up a new round of audiobooks with two different new partners; so a fair number of internal resources are going to that. Might delay new print announcements while they are working on developing that
