Preordering & Prepubs

Hi,
does preordering give me Access to the streaming prepubs, even without a subscription?Because the how it works says:
- Buying or preordering a Premium ebook lets you read all translated parts on both our website and our app, even if the parts are expired or you are no longer a member!
But the preorder pop-up states:
- Includes access to expired streaming parts!
So does this mean if I preorder I will only be able to read the book after the Digital release date and not the prebubs because they are not yet expired?

@jworm5 you'll be able to read the prepub parts as they release if you've preordered the volume, even though they've yet to expire.

@GeorgeMTO thanks, just to confirm that means I don't need a subscription/Membership to read the prepubs of a preordered book correct?

@jworm5 yup, even without a subscription, that works just fine. It's a minority of people who do things that way, but there's a few around on the most popular series.

What you don't get access to from just a preorder is access to the members only forum and the discussion and correction threads associated with the story.
For me being able to chat about a story as it's being published is pretty fun as it's like being part of a book club where everyone has read the same amount so you don't have to worry about spoilers, but even better because you can also interact with the translator.
Still, it's neat that JNC also caters for people who just want to read the latest prepub for one series ASAP.

@Shiny There was a bug a few months ago that prevented new subscribers from accessing those forums, so they were made free to access for everyone (at least for now).
