Thanks for Outbreak Company!

To show my heartfelt gratitude to J-Novel for bringing Outbreak Company from the depth of forgotten memories to us - readers, I'm switching to Premium Subscription!
At last, a light novel that I dreamed to read for a very long time will be brought to the light. Thanks!
-
Glad to hear you're excited. Hope you enjoy it!

I guess I'll post my thanks (again), in this thread.
Outbreak Company was my favourite show back in Fall 2013. Being able to read its source material in English is a dream come true for me. I'll buy every last volume for sure. This license has made me love JNC even more. Thanks guys. -
I didn’t really have expectations for this but am loving Outbreak Company far more than the concept had me expecting, and the translation is really great. If the quality keeps up it’ll definitely be one of my favorite JNovel series and I’m really happy for all your hard work!

Of course I am. There are 18 volumes of goodness. And those who knew Japanese Language, called anime a fake compared to a Light Novel - it is THAT amazing (according to the reviews).

@doublemangekyo Same. I am thankful everyday that OC finally has a legit translation

Wow it’s been a year already? Time sure does fly.

...still speaking of which, where are the new chapters for the next volumes? >.>
-
@jeremytmh V6 just wrapped up on Nov 1, at J-Novel Club what usually happens is that after a volume finishes there is a 1-2 week break before the next volume is uploaded.
So look for it next week Thursday, if you are wondering why it isn’t in the release calendar that is because they don’t add new books into the calendar until the day it is going to be released.
The reason is that they need to have the cover translated and set and that is the very last thing they do.

Outbreak Company V6 ended last week together with Beast Head V1, Bakarina V1, and Smarpthone V11. After a volume ends usually there is a 2 week delay for the next one. So next week, together with Realist Hero V8P2, we will get Part 1 of all the next volumes for all 4 series. (Unless there is some unforeseen delay.)

Ah ok, I totally forgot about the break after a volume lol. Thanks both of you.

As I have already expressed my thanks in this thread PLEASE LET ME EXPRESS IT AGAIN; THANK YOU FOR BRINGING OC TRANSLATION TO MY LIFE.
I don't usually start ongoing LNs unless it has been translated till Vol 8. Once OC was translated I started it (which was a couple months back) and have been reading one volume per month. I just completed Vol 3 and the translations are spot on (or so I would like to think).
The Last Chapter scene with Brooke and football made me shed some manly tears and I am not afraid to admit it. The only time I was this emotional after reading a book was some 13-14 years back with Harry Potter and Half blood prince during the scene of Dumbledore drinking from the goblet.
I am sorry for the rant above and causing nuisance by bringing this old post back to surface but I wanted to express my gratitude and this post was the first thing that came to my mind.
Also, I would like to point out that other translations by JNC have been amazing as well but OC hit me hard because this was the first ISEKAI ANIME that I ever watched (back in 2013) so it holds a special place for me.
Thank you for the great work and hope to see the same in the future.

Yeah I just read vol. 2-8 on catch-up and this is definitely one of my favorites on JNC. The translation is always great and I’ve come to love all the characters. This series does a good job injecting life into side characters and also a great job looking into the economics and “real world” style consequences of a lot of fantasy stuff that I’d never even thought about. I look forward to all the volumes to come!

This is the title that caught my eye when I discovered JNC. I can't believe we're really 3/4 of the way through this series, it's 2020 and there's never been a better time to read Outbreak Company. You have my thanks and my premium token with every volume you release.

One of the great things about JNC is the speed that we get new volumes, except for those rare occasions when something unexpected happens like a translator or editor leaving.
And so far they're managing to keep a steady pace even during the pandemic which is great for those of us doing more reading while we're stuck at home.

I've continued to love OC, but have fallen three volumes behind. I have them all in my account so once I finish a few books I'm working on I'm looking forward to getting back to it
