      Tried in Firefox, Chrome and edge, but whenever I try to look at a part released on the site, I instead just see the blue screen that indicates a part is done. There is no other content, and the slider at the bottoms indicates I'm "NaN%" through the story. Selecting "Back to Reading" Does nothing, as nothing else is loaded. Going to the next story will load another blue screen for the next part (if it's out) which also says I've reached the end. For reference this is true for both the Bookworm main story and the Side stories. I would attach a picture, but it says I don't have permission.

        @KSul Have you tried using incognito mode or private browsing mode on your browsers? It's possible that you have a browser extension/plug-in that's causing this issue. Do you have a different device you can try, like a phone or tablet? I'm wondering if there might be something going on with your specific internet connection, like if there's a key router that's down somewhere between you and our server.

        I was able to log in as you and read parts just fine, so it doesn't seem to be related to your account or the site's overall functionality.

          @myskaros I tried with 3 different browsers and in incognito mode. Nothing seems to be working. When I hit "Previous" on the lower left to go to the preceding part, I get "Error 0500 json: unsupported value: NaN"

            Sorry to hear you're having this troubles! I've escalated to our developers to look at, but I do think this is an isolated issue related to your specific device or connection. We'll get back to you as soon as possible!

              Unfortunately, our developers agreed that this appears to be an issue with your device or internet connection. If you have any firewalls or antivirus software, they might be blocking the request to our servers for the part/chapter data.

              Again, if you have a separate device like a smartphone or tablet, try using those to see if they work. If they do, then there is probably something installed on your computer causing this problem. If they don't work, try switching between wifi and cellular data; if cell data works, then the blocked request may be at your ISP.

                  I would try clearing the browser cache. Log out and then close the entire browser (all the tabs) and try logging in again. Having tried several browsers this is a long shot but worth the attempt.

                    This might be too technical, but you could also open your developer tools on the browser and see what exactly happens when you open up the reader on the site.

                    Also when you read on your phone, are you using the same internet connection as your PC?

                      I'm wondering if it's some sort of overactive antivirus (or web filter or hijack system) interfering with the connection.

                      Does it work fine if you access via the unofficial web app at https://jnc-reader.wscr.dev/ ?

                        This might be too technical, but you could also open your developer tools on the browser and see what exactly happens when you open up the reader on the site.

                        I would have thought the developers would request a HAR file to see what is going on in the browser. But maybe they felt it is too much to ask for.

                          I can't see it at the unofficial app either. When I tried to ping J-novel.club I can ping it just fine. From the webpage itself I see some errors. From the main app:

                                    @chocolatkey When I try to drag and drop a saved image here or snip and paste, it says I don't have enough privileges. I get he same thing as @Xennial-0 when I follow your labs link. I'm on Windows 10, Firefox version 111.0 (64-bit).

                                      @KSul Don't use the "Upload Image" button, upload your image somewhere else (such as Imgur) then use "Image Link" to embed it into your post.

                                            @KSul @Xennial-0 Since we have not been able to reproduce this issue, we would need an HAR file from you to investigate further.

                                            Steps to create an HAR file:

                                            1. Navigate to https://labs.j-novel.club/embed/640f67a67877a2862d88758b.
                                            2. Open the network monitor (F12 on Chrome & Firefox, then click on the "Network" tab).
                                            3. Check "Disable Cache".
                                            4. Chrome only: Make sure "Record network log" is enabled.
                                            5. Refresh the page. There should be a bunch of requests in the log now.
                                            6. Right-click on any of the requests in the list and select "Save All as HAR".
