Magic Maker: How to Create Magic in Another World

Found this story recently and thought it would be worth suggesting. I'd say more but I'm not really any good at this sort of thing.

Some images from the light novel:

@Milo_Leo those images are all 403 for me. If they're the internal images mind, pretty sure posting all of them has been disallowed before.
While looking it up on BookWalker I discovered I not only had the first volume but had pre-ordered it. I have no recollection as to why exactly (might have just seen it on the upcoming list and taken a punt?)
-
@Milo_Leo Just so you know, hot-linking images tends to mean the images will die pretty quickly. I'd recommend rehosting them on a site like imgur before posting them here. Cause all I see is a bunch of dead image alt-text.
-
To add to that, they may appear to work for you when making the post because the images are cached in your browser but if you ctrl+refreshed they'd probably break.
-
The message seems to indicate they're not shared, so they may work for the OP because they're images that they're allowed to access.

@Shiroi-Hane It's surprisingly good if the manga is anything to go off of. It has a really interesting focus on the mechanics of magic and avoids a lot of the more common isekai cliches.
-
Seven Seas licensed… the manga specifically, not the anime. Hmm.
-
@Torka Seven Seas licensing the anime would be uniquely odd.
-
@Shiroi-Hane Pleh. Slip of the fingers, amirite
-
This one actually seems like a good JNC series. LN volumes are still coming out.
-
@Eminent I agree. the anime has me hooked so far and I was disappointed to find there hasn't been a licensed English translation yet. I think I saw that Seven Seas picked up the manga but there are only 20 chapters or so... I want the LN ASAP (and I saw a few people say it has AoaB vibes so I'd definitely read just based on that)

Title: マジック・メイカー -異世界魔法の作り方- | Magic Maker: Isekai Mahou no Tsukurikata | Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World (Anime English title)Synopsis:
(Cruncyroll) On the night of his 30th birthday, one man’s dreams of wielding magic come true after he unexpectedly passes away. He wakes as Sion, a young child in another world. He and his elder sister, Marie, are the children of a lower-class noble family who govern their region. After receiving conflicting messages from their father, Sion and Marie set out on an adventure to uncover the magic.(MAL [translated from Narou]) A man who was thirty years old and wanted to use magic died unexpectedly, and when he woke up, he was reborn in another world. Named Theon, he had high hopes that there would be magic in another world, but there was no magic in that world.
Theon became depressed and lethargic, but an event led him to discover the existence of magic.
"That's right. If there is no magic, then I will make it myself."
With this in mind, Theon began researching magic from that day onwards. Eventually, through the spread of a disease that can only be cured by magic, and a chance encounter with an enemy that can only be defeated by magic, Theon becomes a hero who saves the world. This is the story of a simple magic fool who, while tossed about by fate, overcomes it with the power of magic and an indomitable fighting spirit, ultimately propagating magic to the people.
