It's similar in that it has dark comedy and pokes fun at would-be protagonists, but it's a bit less over the top. The MC is a little like Sage Aoi (who's technically still alive! ;) ) and lives in "an unforgiving world that rewards only effort".

Neechan is pretty fun read, though it is less abilities-oriented story than ID and more about martial arts. The story took a very unexpected turn on volume 3 forward.
