      I can however afford a monthly subscription in premium. Why did you take away that option?

        @Sisngood it seems to still be an option from what I can see. Are you currently on a yearly subscription and want to downgrade to a monthly one?

          A few minutes before writing this reply, I had just renewed for a month for the coin discount, so as GeorgeMTO says, the option is still available.

            @Sisngood Do you currently have an annual subscription? If so you need to wait for that subscription to run out on your account before you can resubscribe on a monthly plan.

              As @jpwong said above.

              The reason for this is to avoid issues with calculating the subscription fee: if the change could result in a refund being required, it can't be done without first letting the subscription lapse to prevent refunds being needed.

              Are there better ways to handle this? Probably, but that would take development time, and like most companies, there never seems to be enough of that available.
              Just one of the many half-measures still present in the service that now feel out of place.


              Affected subscription type changes:

              • Premium → Standard
              • Yearly → Monthly
