Lucia & the Loom vol. 2 and vol.9 of Dali

Volume 1 of this book has been out for a while in Japan. Does anybody know when volume 2 will be released in english?
The anime for Dahlia and Bloom is coming out in April. So does anybody know when volume 9 is coming out in english? -

In brief, J-Novel doesn't discuss when future volumes will appear until they announce the beginning of posting prepub sections, and they don't discuss license negotiations until they can announce that the contract has been signed.
In general, contract negotiations don't begin until the volume has been published in Japan; copies need to be on the shelves of Japanese bookshops.
They do not willingly drop a series.
They do their best to pick up related series.[For me this was brief...]

@Geezer-Weasalopes said in Lucia & the Loom vol. 2 and vol.9 of Dali:

oh so true!
-
@Geezer-Weasalopes Thanks for that information.

I think I remember the translator saying he'd take a small break. I might be mistaken, though. 🤔
-
@Terabyte last premium bonus said they were taking a break from the industry itself, so a replacement is likely being sought/caught up.

@GeorgeMTO
Finding the proper folks for this story would seem a trick in itself, given the setting.
It's not generic.Then they need to get up to speed; I'd argue for having them read through all the prior volumes with the Japanese side by side with the English translation and checking to make sure the glossary and whatever else they've produced to ensure consistency is up to snuff, bookmarks for reference sources related to fashion, technology, &c confirmed, and so on and so forth...
Which is maybe a bit more than what's likely to occur unless JNC is paying for the 'get up to speed' stuff in addition to their standard rates or they get folks on board who are that into the story themselves to 'donate' to 'the cause'.
I have to say JNC's done well so far when a change in staff occurs with the various translation teams, so more of this might be happening than a pessimistic view of the industry would expect.
JNC shows a commitment to quality that is refreshing. -
If you keep finding mistakes in the released English parts, where do you indicate about the mistakes that you’ve noticed? For example, I found a typo in Lucia and the loom volume two part two, as well as a repeated sentence in Lucia and the loom volume two part three.

@Tryna-B For Light Novels, each series has a dedicated correction thread. I personally find the easiest way to get to it is linked from the first post in the volume's discussion topic on the forum, as each prepub part has a button to open said discussion thread.
Lucia's is here: https://forums.j-novel.club/topic/6952/lucia-and-the-loom-corrections-topic
-
@Tryna-B Also, be advised that, if you're seeing the mistakes on-line, that doesn't mean they haven't been dealt with in the published version. Not all on-line versions are updated with corrections. Some are (most of Bookworm), but others not.
So, the best way is to check the corrections topic for the particular book to see if the correction you think should be done has already been submitted (the link @GeorgeMTO gave is one). If you do not see it, submit the correction via email (support@j-novel.club) first, then summarize it in the corrections topic as "submitted".

@GeorgeMTO Thanks, that was helpful. I’ll try to start uploading some of the issues I’ve found
-
@SomeOldGuy Got it. I’ll cruise the link for the corrections that I found and if they’re not there, I’ll submit it via email first.
