Is it true that Magic Gem Gourmet was discontinued without finishing the story?

@Tahu The manga is ongoing.
The novel completed the first "少年期編" (shounen part) with volume 9 (which came out in Japan like, 2021.The webnovel started a new arc called the "青年期編" (seishun part) which is so far webnovel only.
I think it's possible that the good sales of the manga will get Kadokawa to come and print the new arc at somepoint as well: it looks like it's got maybe ~1-2 volumes worth of webnovel written but it's not being written so quickly anymore.

Anyone know whats going on with volume 7 of misfit of demon King academy? They usually announce the next volume but haven't yet and I don't see it in the calendar. Was it dropped?

@Astral293 JNC hasn't willingly dropped a series they've started yet, so in all likelihood the series has just run into some sort of delay the same way sponger life did a while ago.

@jpwong ah okay thanks hopefully they figure whatever's going on cause misfit is my fav series and would suck if it didn't finish lol
