I am not missing any of the physical copies of the manga but they seem to jump from mynes winter over the spring festival, battle with the high priest to her adoption. What gives? @j-novel

@Jacob-Silbernagel-wrp4jbh In Japan, they are publishing the Part 2 adaptation at the same time as the Part 3 adaptation. The Part 2 manga is still incomplete in Japanese, so there is nothing for us to publish in English yet, meaning if you bought both the Part 2 and Part 3 manga volumes, there will be a gap in the story.

As you noted, there is more content past Part 2 Volume 9 of the Ascendance of a Bookworm Part 2 Manga. Due to a variety of circumstances we had to go ahead with publishing the Part 3 manga before we eventually went back to the volumes now available for Part 2. One reason is that Part 2 Volume 9 is not the end of the Part 2 manga. Part 2 is long, as is Part 3 and also. The Japanese publisher is electing to have the manga adaptation for Parts 2 and 3 done concurrently by different artists. So J-Novel Club has also elected to translate Part 2 and Part 3 of the manga in as orderly a manner as possible.
