      volume cover

Alt titles: 褐色娘のラティーナさんに俺の体が狙われている, Kasshoku musume no ratīna-san ni ore no karada ga nerawa rete iru

Author: Kiraku Kishima (Back to the Battlefield: The Veteran Heroes Return to the Fray!)
      Artist: Oryou
      Volumes: 1 (about to release)
      Publisher: Shueisha (Dash x Dunko)

Synopsis: Makoto Ito, a high school student, may have a slightly strong sexual desire, but otherwise he is an ordinary high school student. His ordinary life changes dramatically when he meets Latina, a transfer student from a foreign country who is extremely bright and has healthy wheat-colored skin! - Because she saved Latina who was entangled with a man, Makoto is suddenly forced to marry her and have children! - Her passionate appeal, which comes out where it comes out and tightens where it tightens, Makoto and his little Makoto are already on the verge of an outburst ...! Makoto is gradually attracted to Latina, who is serious, honest, and kind, even though he has a slightly outrageous set of values, but when he enters high school, he experiences a major setback and loses his confidence. A high-tension school romantic comedy about a brown girl like the sun, opens!

Comments: Yes, this is entirely based off the controversy that happened a few days ago where the author and artist had to clarify "okay, so her name is Latina because I was looking for names of Latin American women and I used AI to pick out one I liked". Sure, it's a romcom, but it is a romcom with Latin American representation.

The part about the protagonist losing is confidence worries me a bit, but can I expect a series where the main character isn't afraid at the mere thought of holding hands with a girl?
