[PLEASE READ] - Issues after extended Maintenance

Hello JNC Staff,
Once full-service has been restored, will there be any adjustments to timetables in terms of book release dates, or extending the time that regular and premium members have access to pre-published book parts, especially those that expire tomorrow? If not, would it be possible for regular and premium members to receive some number of free week long book rentals so we can catch up on what we missed that way? Thank you for your consideration.

A couple things I noticed right now:

Before there were links when you clicked on an author's/illustrator's name for a given series that would pull up a search query with their name in it that would show all their works (LNs & Manga adaptations) that isn't working but that's just a convenience thing for us lazy folks so bottom priority.

It looks like my most recent history for the past month or so is coming back since I can now see all the progress for the most recent volumes that were expiring soon is there now. Still can't log progress through browsers (Firefox on PC & Safari on mobile) but can mark progress through the JNC app on my iPad. All previous history like the first part for all previous volumes' history is still showing nothing on PC but somehow still shows correctly for all parts on previous volumes through the JNC app. I know this is an ongoing issue and since I updated the app and can view all previous history I feel this will eventually get fully sorted.

Was making a list of all the upcoming volumes that were going to expire in mid-November starting with the manga versions. Neither on PC or in the app does recent history track and past history even on the app is missing. All the manga volumes are showing off expiration dates (Frontier Lord manga volume 6 & Now I'm a Demon Lord manga volume 8 both show expiring on October 30 while The Invincible Little Lady manga volume 5 shows it's expiring on November 06). And for some reason on Firefox (can't differentiate on the app) all the previous manga volume parts are highlighted in green as if they're currently available to read along with the actual currently streaming parts.

Yesterday I read a couple LN parts via browser on my PC. Those parts did not have their read status when I went into that app this morning. I swiped through them in the app and now they show read.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but I'm unable to read anything on the app, in part it looks like a failed to load user data.

Please go to the account tab of the app. Then in the top right corner there is a sign out button. Please tap that button and then sign back in.
If that does not work, please delete the app and download it again. Let’s know if the issue continues from there.

Final parts of novels are no longer labelled as such. For example, part 12 of "Peddler in Another World" is just indicated as such in the overall title, with the window where a final part would be called out only filled with "Prepub Publishing". I realise this isn't necessarily the biggest priority, but it is a minor QoL thing that would be nice to see again. Will be disappointing having to find out the hard way that a particular volume's prepubs have ended.

New issue, unsure if it's related but when trying to read the new hell mode manga chapter here https://j-novel.club/read/hell-mode-manga-volume-5-chapter-3 I get "Error 0NaN
no files found in directory /data/manga/5e1dae52-eecc-4eb7-8154-006a12d882a5"
Another new manga chapter (the new d-genesis) seems fine, if that helps inform anything.

Recent progress now restored and working for new novel chapters only, manga progress not saved. Also reading progress older than the currently released books not there.
(Old issue while you are looking at why the manga progress is not working. Many manga chapters wil not show as read completely even it you press the next chapter at the bottom. Random if it shows as completely read or 80-90% read when you complete the chapter. I state again this last bit is an issue that predates the web page maintenance) -
@SolusVenator it keeps coming up and people are forgetting the answers already given. But as stated just a couple messages back, this thread is long and confusing enough that it's hard to keep track of them all, so I can't fault you for it. :-)
My understanding is that the old bug where it got the page count wrong on manga needed a two-part fix. The first part was that the back end wasn't properly keeping track of the page count, so the front end could only guess (and usually got it wrong). This was supposedly fixed by the back end changes they just deployed this last week. But that change involved adding a field that didn't exist before to the manga records, and the front end doesn't know how to read that field. The fix to the front end is still pending (and taking a back seat to other changes that are more user-impacting like logging in and buying coins and so forth).
A little bit of that is guessing on my part, but most of that is based on bits and pieces of things I've seen said on the forum and on Discord by the developers. If I got any if that wrong maybe someone will step up with a correction.

Android (Samsung). Have already tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling twice.
If I go to the forums in a browser, my login and password work fine.
With the android app, my login and password work for reading content. But if I use the forum link within the app, it prompts for login/password but these never work, and using the "lost login" prompt from here never generates an email that allows changing the password.
Maybe the forum link within the app is pointing to a stale server instance?

As has been stated, there is no tracking read status on manga at all right now.
All LN should have history back to early September right now. New reading of a LN in a browser on the main site does not track read history. But then in the browser, there has never been a way to see it normally, but it was always tracked before. Reading a LN in the app or in Crimson’s web app track status normally for everyone else. Are you sure your app is updated?

FANBOOK 4 (AoB) if I acces the book from "My library" on the App. ALL Parts are "unread"... but EXTRANGELY... if I do acces from the "Pre-pubs" (long press -Open Volume- ). ... All parts are mark as READ.
In fact! Any volume I've past read, ALL of them apear now as UNREAD when acessing them from "My Library"

What's the status on reading history and tracking, looks like Manga is still broken, won't even track new things I've read.
This includes logging out, deleting and reinstalling the app, clearing the cache and storage. Multiple tests. Both on my Samsung tablet and phone.
Kinda wish you guys just rolled back the upgrade instead of tuffing it out. Total mess
