The audio up here is definitely episode 2. I don't see why it wouldn't download the right audio, but the one that plays on the site here is correct.

I don't know if he updated or what, but it should be right now. =]

Yeah, that isn't what I was listening to a few hours ago via the website. I checked Spreaker just now & it is still wrong, but maybe it is some weird cache thing in the app on the phone? I dunno, weird stuff always seems to happen to me.

The new episode is up. Justus, me, JL, and Kyle C in this one. We are discussing Devil is a Part-Timer this episode (and it mostly focuses on differences between the anime + novels, but we do cover a small portion of volumes 3+4; if there's a next time, the plan was to cover up to volume 10, but we'll see how we do it; 4 volumes was still a lot to cover in one ep).

@terrence can you name the top 3 Mc Donalds burgers in Japan. Let us see if you can remember the answers.

I believe there was a Teriyaki one in 3rd... That's all I got. My memory is so so bad (I don't really like burgers or beef, so I can't say my mouth was watering too much that segment, lol). T.T
Podcast spoilers:
I know Colonel Sanders is Santa now though. ^_^
I know one of the questions was Tokyo and Osaka McDonald's having a rivalry too. When I think Osaka, I think of Azumanga Daioh. xP
Edit: Ah, so I was right about

Infinite Dendrogram podcast live!
It's me, BioGundam, Tom, and Kyle C, along with Justus of course. Covers volumes 1-3.
Some issues we discuss:
What is Dendrogram? Is this the real life or is it just fantasy?
What makes Dendro work where other VRMMO have faltered?
Is Ray who he seems?
-
@terrence No, Ray is Conrade Kruze.
-
Episode 8 is up. We discussed How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Volumes 1-4 (and teased a bit of 6).
Cast:
BioGundam
JL
Terrence
JustusSome topics we discuss:
How does Machiavelli's "The Prince" figure into Souma's strategy?
Why does Souma have some faint recognition of the Demon-Lord's name?
Who is the leader of the Black Cats?
Is there some level of fatigue with this series since after the bigger happenings in 2+3?
Justus also has reviews on volumes 1-4 on his channel if you haven't checked those out.

So, the secret is officially out on the guest for our next podcast (Justus announces who it will be at 1:21:20 in the latest episode, the Fall anime focused LN podcast of Episode 9). That guest interview will be on episode 10 of our cast.
Episode 9 (Anime): https://youtu.be/W2HgXmRHutg
Hosts: BioGundam, Kyle, JL, Terrence, Justus
Episode 10 (Interview with A Guest): Arriving sometime next week.
Hosts: Tom, JL, Terrence, Justus
Spoilers:

God I hate BioGundam and won’t listen to an episode with him, why does he have to be in the Sam episode? I actually dropped the amount I donate on Patreon due to that BioGundam guy. Justus is great, most the other podcasters seem like interesting and nice people but BG just pees all over any conversation he’s in
-
@the-green-death I'm not seeing the guy listed for episode 10, but only for episode 9?

Bio isn't in the interview with Sam. He couldn't be because of the time difference with regards to where he lives and when Sam could record.
Both Kyles couldn't attend either for their own reasons (nothing bad, I think it just would have coincided with school/work life or just not having the ability to record temporarily).

God I hate BioGundam
Honestly I think Bio has toned it down substantially since the first podcast. He has a tendency to ramble and shoot a crude joke in still, but I find him much more bearable lately.
@Terrence You should speak up more in the podcasts! I haven't listened to the latest one yet, but I didn't realize you were in the Realist Hero podcast until almost halfway through. Lol. But I understand, it would be difficult taking turns and when you're finally about to speak it's already on to the next topic.

I didn't have much to say in the anime one tbf (I don't read Index, haven't read Slime yet, and I try to avoid spoilers for stuff I haven't read), but I completely agree overall, I want to talk a bit more.
Some behind the scenes for the Realist cast:
My major interests are pretty much shipping (I did get the ball rolling a bit there in Realist), looking ahead (which is tough when I've already read ahead), plot twists / being surprised by developments, and comparisons to other works. I've got some strong opinions, but sometimes I don't want to rock the boat. But it seems like some people want that, so I'll try to be more aggressive and formulate those things before the cast. =]
In episode 10, you'll hear me a lot since Tom had some technical issues, so I ask his questions.
Yeah, I agree with what you said about Bio, although I'm not trying to turn The Green Death's opinion on him here, just echo that. Bio is unabashedly Bio, so he's going to be who he is, whether it rubs people the wrong way or no. But he brings the knowledge, as does JL, with the real life history stuff, and he's good at looking at things from his own interest perspective, which I appreciate (trying to be objective with your opinion is not always helpful; I do like to hear from people with strong opinions, whether wrong or no, not a generalized opinion made for the masses since sometimes that reads as false to me).

Goblin Slayer podcast is live.
... I'm still a bit quiet in this one, sorry. I may do a follow up video with some more impressions / reactions separate from the cast.
Cast is:
Bio
Flyz
JL
Terrence (Me)

I love it when you guys trash talk dem anitubers.

On the Light Novel page, you can find in the links a good contribution of Q+A from Bio's friend who was a Social Worker iirc (or Social Justice major; excuse me for my ignorance). It was pretty enlightening reading the responses to a few of my questions, but I did so after the show, so I felt like a total ass since I mostly talked about how I hate content warnings spoiling stuff.
I still stand by my opinion that I don't want a content warning like the one in Goblin Slayer which Crunchyroll burned into the image of the opening scene of the anime I'm watching. I still think the (anime that begins with an M spoiler)
so be it if it protects others from potentially triggering painful memories that could harm them psychologically, add the warnings, but in a way that isn't super disruptive to the viewing experience if possible.
Something like those FBI warnings / TV age rating screens on HBO shows before the episode would be ok, then I know not to look at the screen until that screen passes.

I might do an Anitube style video for a PostScript to this episode... Just depends on what I'm doing this week and if I still feel the oomph to do it after the Anime NYC cast if we do that.
-
We recorded an episode on Anime NYC, JNovel manga licenses, and Kono Light Novel Ga Sugoi Rankings.
We still have one podcast in the bank that I wasn't on (A Certain Magical Index focused), so this cast we just recorded probably won't go up until at least a week after the Index one.
Justus mentions the two next podcast possibilities at the end of the Ga Sugoi cast (one of them, Justus and JL are just waiting to receive in the mail; I think Canada had a postal strike?).

A while ago decided to listen to one of these. Chose 5.2 because the announcements seemed interesting. Stopped right after the Mushoku Tensei discussion. It seemed that no one had read more than 1 or 2 volumes, in your opinions, the gist of the novel was a reincarnated pedophile hits on girls. No offense, but, thanks but no thanks to this podcast.
Coincidentally, the one ANN podcast I listened to was where someone used "toxic male masculinity" about 3 times in 30 seconds to describe Gurren Laggan. Never again.

Ah, I don't believe I was in that podcast, and I haven't participated with Mushuko Tensei at all, so I have little to no preconceptions (besides what the covers and manga covers look like). If that releases digitally, I'll give it a read and see for myself.
I respect your decision though in choosing or not choosing to listen. We are 7 differing voices, with 7 differing interests, so our readings all can be a bit different.
