            Still mad they didn’t go with “Skill Nuts”, which is as close as a translation to the original

            They didn’t go with “Nut Master”, the cowards

              Why would they? 木の実 has no single 1:1 translation so devoid of context (or blindly relying on MTL) it’s 50/50 but considering the premise is around skill fruits (which are depicted as fruits on the cover and in the manga) and nuts never come up…

              The fan TL is so MTL it hurts, managing to have “skill fruit”, The Fruit of The Skill”, “The fruit of skill”, “ fruits of your skills” and “The fruit of this skill” all just in the first chapter.

              It’s been on my want to read list for ages because skill collecting ticks my boxes and Ayla is darned cute. I got a few volumes into the manga way before the anime. Looks like it’s on K Manga now, so that another thing for the long list now that we finally have it here.
