Desktop Issue - The scroll keeps jumping

When I read a novel on the website on my laptop as I scroll all of a sudden it will randomly jump an entire page either forward or backward, sometimes multiple in quick succession. This is getting annoying, and making it hard to read properly. It's not an issue with any of the Manga; it's only novels.
