So what's interesting about this series is that the MC, being the richest most famous adventurer in the world, has to fend off not only monsters but a parade of cartoonishly evil corrupt/stupid/incompetent people after his fame, his money or his life. Corrupt politicians, former friends, corrupt politicians, greedy family, corrupt politicians, bureaucrats (sensing a pattern here) etc. But being sensitive to public opinion, he can't just kill them, but has to ruin them with his videos and his connections.
