That's an interesting license considering it has a bunch of spoilers for the main series since it's technically a kind of sequel.

Ahh, I'm pretty far behind on Shield Hero. Time to catch up I guess.

Even catching up with the English LN releases probably won't get you close enough to not be spoiled when volume 1 comes out. It's like how Arifureta Zero includes spoilers for volume 7. I'll probably end up leaving Spear Hero for quite a while before I touch it.

It is nice to see some specific sales figures for a printed LN vol. in the U.S. considered the rise of e-books and the fact many publishers usu. won't give sales stats outside of "it has been selling [badly, OK, really well]".

Anyone reading the LN version of Shieldbro can confirm wether they have made it already to the part where Motoyasu gets transported to that prallel world, or is this whole series HUGE spoilers??

@paulnamida the ln official translation is up to 10, but i don't remember too much about what motoyasu has been doing(those other 3 rarely doing anything important plot wise.)

@aruseus493 what spoilers? (ive finished the WN, so only thing i can think of is Ehit being a douche).

@paulnamida Nah, in the LN they are only up to the part just after returning from purchasing the slaves from the other city after defeating the first spirit. It was weird reading the LN and not have the brother and sister in that part of the story considering how important they are to the story.

If you haven't read the LN, i would recommend it since the story has a lot more content than the WN.

I actually just started reading Shield Hero and I'm not sure why the author would want to give Motoyasu a spin off considering the guy has been nothing but a massive prick for the first 2 volumes.

Ha ha, yeah. Although, he looks friendly enough on this cover.

Motayasu is very gullible, so I guess we're supposed to forgive him for his actions because he is stupid? I really, really don't want the Shield Hero to work together with these guys. I think the other dudes are even more culpable because they should have better heads on their shoulders.

                            I'm up to volume 6.
