      FYI,
Just updated my iPad OS to version 17.7.7 (6th Gen iPad) this morning and found that the J-Novel app v3.1.1 requires you to login every time you open it with all settings reverted back to default values.

Previous iPad version had no issues with remaining logged in and keeping the settings between logins.

Deleted the app and re-downloaded from App Store and issue persists.

Suspect Apple changed something that is preventing settings and login state from being saved.

Work around once logged in and settings to your liking never close out the app.

Note: This only affects old iPads that do not support iPadOS 18 and was reported to Apple as it affects multiple 3rd party apps. I reverted to 17.7.6 and all my apps returned to normal operation.

@Khelben -- yes, I have the same experience on my older iPad Pro.

I had no idea you could roll back versions on iPadOS! Can you recommend a link that shows how to do this?

@swoods These forums are probably not the best place to discuss this as it is not related to J-Novel books.

If I can figure out how to send a DM I could give you more info on the procedure I used.

Most important thing you need is a backup made prior to the update as rollback involves wiping the iPad back to Factory defaults and a backup made after an update will not work. If you have that you might be able to rollback.

@Khelben thanks for the pointer. I'll have this ready for next time.

And, happily, with the the recent release of iPadOS 17.7.8 the J-Novel app is back to working normally for me.
