Android app issues recently?
-
Howdy. Last month maybe 2 the app on Android has been odd. I didn't see another post about it recently. Did see some for apple tho.
Basically the app will open and get stuck in the blue loading screen. Sometimes if it sits for 3 or 5 min it'll make it to the usual ui. Sometimes it just won't.
There is also the issue that quite a few times I'll click on a given chapter and it'll never load or I'll have to click on and out a few times.
Has anyone had this sort of thing recently. Or any suggestions?
Ive entirely uninstalled and reinstalled. Cleared caches. Cleared memory. Etc.
It seems to have the same issue on other phones too so I don't think it's mine specifically. But Motorola did have an update in march so maybeMaybe the app and website are middle of upgrading and just has hiccups for now?
I'm subbed and use it in-between bus stops or tasks. But if it can't load it doesn't feel useful. The website sometimes works but sometimes won't load well either. (But there areposts about that already )so I'm wondering if there is any thoughts?
Have an error screen but can't put a photo not can I copy the error

@Zwordsman I've not had any problems lately. Something you could try is the PWA based reader by @Crimson-Wise at https://jnc-reader.wscr.dev/

@Zwordsman the app is working fine for me. Your mention of the website also having issues periodically makes me think the are network issues between you and JNC's servers.

Yeah. I would've thought except it works in some other stuff. Like a tablet(browser) and in my OC.
A new error today. That's happening only with manga not novels
DioException [bad response]: This exception was thrown because the response has a status code of 500 and RequestOptions.validateStatus was configured to throw for this status code.
The status code of 500 has the following meaning: "Server error - the server failed to fulfil an apparently valid request"
Read more about status codes at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status
In order to resolve this exception you typically have either to verify and fix your request code or you have to fix the server code. -
