      Or otherwise 筺底のエルピス.
As you can imagine from the unusual title, the story's pretty unusual too—a rare sci-fi that isn't quite what it seems, a story narratively analogous to rebuild world yet nonetheless nothing like it. Dimensionally multifarious, this is Elpis at the end of Frame, illustrated by toi8 of Conqueror fame (S rank daughter, the 'crest of din', 再現使いは帰りたい, among others ) penned by 文芸 veteran オキシタケヒコ.
Really, it's something... among the very few true blood sci-fi stuff whose breadth and scope is steadily being realized all the way to end—
Yes, a story with a start and end.
      Beginning and conclusion.
Take a look at the cover of volume 1 and its synopsis if so inclined—

A shadowy battle for the survival of humanity.
The Chain of Killings, Causality, and Possession—
Since ancient times, these entities have been called "Oni" or "Demons." They are manifestations of lethal intent, programs designed for human extinction, sent from the other side of the dimensional veil. Japan's dark underbelly, known as the "Monbu," is a covert organization that has fought against these beings using advanced, modified eyeballs called "Tenyan," which project invisible entities onto the retina, and a supernatural coffin called the "Tomei Field," which can halt time. They have relentlessly hunted, chased, and banished these so-called Oni.
      The present day.

Kei Momokari and Kanae Inui—two warriors scarred by their pasts—stumble upon a "Shiroki," a rare and ancient demon, one of only six known in history. As their organization contends with this creature, a mysterious assassins' group called the "Giorgios Society" begins to move. This group, like the "Monbu," is a demon-hunting organization—though based in Europe and long engaged in its own battles against similar entities, under the auspices of the Vatican.
What is the true nature of the "Shiroki"? What will happen as these two organizations clash? And is there any hope left to prevent humanity's annihilation?
This is the epic tale of warriors fighting in the shadows to save mankind. Created by the talented Takehiko Okashita, this supernatural action series features illustrations by the acclaimed toi8.

Now then. As you can see from the imprint, the backing publisher is Gagaga... holder of 'Salad Bowl', 'Witch & Hound', 'Propeller Opera' and quite a few others, as well captor of potential explosive series 'Tale Of White Empire' by veteran 犬村小六... whether it'll be licensed or no, even if all goes well, who can say.
