I could not find any information about the light novel on the official fandom, and it might be in a similar state like for Farming Life in Another World by 内藤騎之介.
After reading the first 300~ entries on 小説家になろう I think it is worth the mention and look, as one of the more interesting candidates which deserve an official translation.
At least considering Flung into a New World? Time to Lift the 200-Year Curse! which got picked up by J-Novel Club.
Personally I like Let’s Buy the Land and Cultivate It in a Different World more thanlung into a New World? Time to Lift the 200-Year Curse! and Farming Life in Another World, while the manga ranking would be reversed (personal preference-wise).
It is surprisingly much easier to digest, deeper characters-wise, better with the humour and has a great pacing. Compared to New World? Time to Lift the 200-Year Curse! and Farming Life in Another World, Let’s Buy the Land and Cultivate It in a Different World definitely comes out on top when it is about the overall writing and presentation.
It also seems to be quite deeper / more available which I am enjoying at the moment.

(10.08.2025)Long story short: if J-Novel Club had ever the chance to consider it, it would be more of a attraction than the alternatives - in my personal opinion. I prefer the J-Novel Club ebooks much more than Seven Seas or Kodansha. Always bugs me a little that we have here I Shall Survive Using Potions! but not the other FUNA titles...
