            @Jon-Mitchell

            No, it is just the parts themselves

            Sorry but J-Novel Club does not publicly comment on any potential licensing decision or acquisitions.

              It might make sense to sort the list into alphabetical order. Also to possibly split into two groups of "full series" and "first 3 volumes" with each group alphabetical.

                @HarmlessDave yeah, if I was considering readers' club I'd really want a separate list of just the series that are fully available and wouldn't really care about the longer series with only the first three volumes available. I'd be unlikely to factor in the latter into my subscription purchasing decision.

                License Wishlist: Kino's Journey, Crest/Banner anthology, SukaMoka
                Favorite JNC Series: Bookworm, Faraway Paladin, Dendro, Grimgar, Crest/Banner of the Stars, Tearmoon Empire, Skull Dragon's Precious Daughter, Apothecary Diaries, Otome Heroine's Fight

                  @yumenokage - same. When I first looked at the list I was thinking "maybe I'll get back to reading ( series ) I drifted away from if it's part of the library" then I realized it was one of the 3-volume ones.

                  There's a lot of good stuff in the library that I can recommend to others, but I already own them so there isn't enough left over to make it worth me subscribing.

                      I am very upset With the fact that we cannot get mangas in this library. I also was 1 of the people that found out late About the changes that were being made. J. novel has close to 500 books and mangas, and yet only 72 are available to us. Plus this month and the where catch-up used to be there is a manga and yet it's not available to us any place else. Why tease us. When will this change.

                        @dawnmm we've been told manga won't be coming anytime soon (if ever) partially because of recently signing a deal with Crunchyroll to put a lot of JNC manga on Crunchyroll's new manga service.

                        In my personal opinion it's also made more difficult by several Japanese publishers running their own English manga apps, but none of the ones JNC contract with have a service for LNs.

                          @dawnmm said in [READERS LIBRARY] Ongoing List of Titles - Updated October 3, 2025:

                          J. novel has close to 500 books and mangas, and yet only 72 are available to us.

                          to be precise/ pedantic : 338 SERIES of books exist, only 38 of which are fully in the readers' library (about 10%) and an additional 21 series have the first 3 volumes as 'teasers' there

                          still, that is hundreds of volumes in the readers' library, and I'll leave it up to the individual to decide if good value for money

                          as @GeorgeMTO mentioned, the Crunchyroll deal likely killed any chance of manga becoming part of the readers' library subscription (now, I don't know if that precludes a 'catchup' of a manga getting posted from time to time on the regular website/ap, I mean as long as the contractual obligations allow for currently 'streaming' manga just not to be taken down...but wishful thinking on my part- I have NO knowledge of any of this stuff)

                          I read banned books
