Went into the light novel thinking cool another reincarnation story with magic… what I got was a book where the author appears to have been paid to say racism is bad every chapter and bullies never win. Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. You know what everyone wants with their LN, apparently grandstanding speeches on racism.

But yes, that series is neither serious in its treatment of class issues (either type) nor subtle in its wish-fulfilment.
I've been finding it entertaining enough (since I stopped taking it seriously), but I certainly wouldn't blame you for disliking it. I suspect most readers will either find it amusing or insufferable, with little in between.
