I was just wondering if anyone else got the usual 699 coins today instead of the upgrade's 799 that we're suppose to get now?

@DiKei Looking at my transaction history... I got the full 799 this month.

Just to check, did you actually upgrade? If you didn't do it manually, you'll still be on the old plan, paying the old price, with 699 free coins a month.

            my understanding:

            • if you have an ongoing annual /prepaid (premium) membership, that predates October 2025, you'll get 699 coins a month, (until anniversary time- then your annual rate goes up, and you'll get 799/ month)
            • if you have month to month (premium) membership you should be getting 799 as of 10/15/2025

disclaimer - I don't work for JNC, not a spokesman, that's just my understanding from reading the announcements/fora etc

@Jon-Mitchell only if you upgraded to the new premium tier. If you are on the legacy premium tier, then you get 699/month. You will not be auto upgraded. You have to change to the new tier to get the 799 coins.

I thought that was what I was alluding to:
if you had an existing annual/prepaid subscription/membership = not canceled /'upgraded' to the new premium annual subscription/membership = it continues on existing terms and conditions (699 coins/month) until anniversary

@Jon-Mitchell It's the 'until anniversary' bit that I don't think you've gotten correct; While they've locked the old premium plan to new subscribers, they haven't locked renewals yet.

                    @kuali
                    example:
I have a premium membership. I chose to pay annually
                    my anniversary is May
I just got my coins for October
                    I received 699

my cost per month isn't going up (yet)
my coins received isn't changing (yet)

I have not seen official communication on what happens to renewals. My assumption is that renewing members must choose from whatever offerings are currently available : so if that is true, in May 2026 when I renew, if I chose annual membership again, premium will cost $132/year (and I'll start to get 799 coins a month thereafter). The portal currently does appear to allow me to renew for $120/year but I don't know if that is a glitch or if that would grant me 699 or 799 coins per month or when that would start (but I'm not willing to gamble $120 to find out)

If you have a legacy premium account. It will renew at the legacy rate with 699 coin monthly distributions. Unless you elect to change it.

@Rahul-Balaggan I think this wasn't clear in the blog page where the new subscription details were updated. I thought renewal would be possible only with an upgrade to new premium. This does change how I would have handled my subscription. I am actually mildly annoyed with this "hidden" detail.

In any case, please add this detail explicitly to the subscription explanation page.
