Saving 80K Gold coins... manga is releasing on January 7th.

Light novel for that one has an estimated March 4th date. It sounds like Harem Royale will come out on January 7th as well.
Detestable Demon-Lord doesn't release for almost 80 years. 2100 (barring the typo on the year, probably January 1st for that?). xD

@terrence didnt they told saving gold and harem royal manga release date weeks ago. And i think they use 1st jan 2100 for titles whoes release date isnt announce yet (as every new title (except manga) have this release date)
-
Maybe I missed / forgot that they dated them. The preorders are live for the manga at certain retailers, so I saw them mention that on social media.
So 2100 is their placeholder date? That makes sense. You figure they'd be hyping up that orphanage one more if it were out so soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, work on Nukitashi, Future Radio, and Love Among the Sunflowers, which was due to start at the beginning of this month, has been delayed slightly. We apologize, and are aiming to start as soon as possible.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, work on Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement Light Novel and Redefining the Meta at VRMMO Academy, which was due to start at the beginning of this month, has been delayed slightly. We apologize, and are aiming to start as soon as possible.
Apologies again regarding the delays to the start of work on several of our titles. While I can’t go into details, these circumstances were truly unforeseen. Regardless, we’ve learned from this and will be reorganizing slightly internally to ensure everything is as smooth as possible in the future. Thank you for your understanding!
I feel like the reassurance almost makes me want to hit the panic button more. xD

So we have to wait more for 80,000 Gold... 😐
-
wow, that really doesn't look good/reassuring that they'll be around very long....
-
That does not sound good at all.
I don’t have high hopes for Sol and was really bummed that they got a FUNA as I think we will be lucky to get one a year. I just hope they don’t fold taking the rights with them
-
In other FUNA related news:
-
Sol Press is not bad as a vn publisher so I just hope they'll concentrate more on that front.
-
That desapointing, i wish SOL and JNC could swap their FUNA licence :(
-
@raitoiro those are words that could elicit a lot of arguments (from people who like Potion loli) let’s just say We wish JNC could pilfer (legally) all SOL manga and LN licenses and leave the VNs behind.
-
@rahul-balaggan Well, if we go that way i wish JNC could be the one doing all the licence from other publisher, aside from the lack of physical release their service is better than the other.
-
I mean, I'd be happy if JNC just stole every LN license from every publisher and gained a total monopoly on the English LN market...
-
I'd like to avoid a monopoly so just steal from all the failing/disliked publishers. Like Yen Press, Sol Press, and Sekai Project. (I want my Gate manga.)
-
I like Yen Press' licensing though. So don't dissolve them in this hypothetical unless you'll license more of the type of stuff they do, lol.
I'd personal prefer Sol rebounds from whatever this unforseen circumstance is and remains a real licensor (with better release pacing...). One of their first manga licenses, Harem Royale, is the kind of thing I absolutely want more of. Illusion that anyone can die, some twists, and psychological warfare. Gimme!
Their LN licenses are fun. Nothing too crazy, but fun certainly. The one I really want is that Orphanage Demon Lord one, and I'm curious about 80,000 gold coins of course.
Their VN licenses don't excite me as much so far (young character focuses for the most part), but I definitely like having a competitor that takes license requests there.
-
@terrence I was thinking along the lines of absorbing YP's licenses. Like they publish some long series which are still years behind where fan-translations died and then there are also their delays for stuff like NGNL or how because they're physical first, caught up series end up with super long wait times.
-
@aruseus493
How about a similar partnership JNC has with Seven Seas in Arifureta. In this case JNC will publish Digital first to catch up with the Japanese release and Yen Press can handle all the physical release. -
If it ends up with J-NC translating stuff, what's the difference from just transferring the licenses? XD After all, part of YP's problem are their localization practices which get them traditionally yelled at during their convention panels.
-
@aruseus493
Partnership has a higher possibility of happening compared to transferring of licenses. -
@bartzbb that would be cool, YP are annoying because they're way too slow, but their physical realease are great quality-wise, at least for some serie like "So i'm a spider, so what".
