Sol Press Discussion Thread

@jpwong Technically, Tsmalls let people on the discord about this months ago. But after the latest ANN article, he decided to make the post on twitter since people still occasionally showed up in the discord hoping for refunds.

Since the Rakudai thread is locked, and I am not willing to start a new one.
A few of Sol Press's licenses have been rescued. I am kind of curious to see if anyone will rescue Chivalry of a Failed Knight.
Always thought it was the superior between it and Asterisk War, which admittedly is something I also enjoy reading. -
Yeah it's a shame that Rakudai didn't get picked up. It was the only series that Sol Press had that I was interested in.

On Discord, when discussing all the groaning for Rakudai being left behind, Sam simply to fans “patience people, sheesh .” Take that however you will.

Considering how many felt that the possibility of any license rescues was slim to none and a long time coming due to potential problems determining the legal status of the associated translations, and, what, three publishers have already done so for a very significant portion of Sol Press' product line... with only three titles requiring new translations?
Um, yeah, it's a tad soon to declare the rescue over.
Remember, some pizzas take longer to burn. -

Well when everything but Rakudai gets rescued, it looks weird.

Perhaps the publisher is trying to get him to license Isekai Tensei Zero: Prologuing the Excitement or Dungeon Busters: History Lessons are Fun as a package deal?
(Apologies to those who want to read either of those made-up titles.)
