Now that the JNC stream is over: Rakudai 4 is dated for July 6th.

Taking their previous responses at face value that the JP side "allowed" them to release it, so we can look forward to them working together to release more beyond 4 hopefully.

I'm glad to see more volumes come out so quickly (finally!) but still nothing for 80k Gold... :(

@Rahul-Balaggan :: shock :: those are quick follow-ups. Demon Lord 1-2 were fun, a little like JNC's Elf Bride though the characters are less awkward when it comes to romance.
However, next Friday we'll be at 14 months of waiting for 80,000 Gold 2.

@Nosgoroth me too, though I suspect now the delay on 80k has to do with publishing it is tied to physical editions needing to be available

Yeah they have also been adding volume one of 80,000 Gold to Ibooks "soon" for those entire 14 months.

They've stopped even mentioning 80,000 Gold in blog posts, so maybe we'll get volume 2 in 2021?

The license announcements on Friday are going to be for new series; JNC doesn't really "announce" individual volume licenses for continuing series.
Sol Press really lowered the bar for what can be considered a “Light Novel Announcement”...
