Request: Reviews for Titles
-
I reviewed Occultic and Big Sister. As I bought them here rather than Amazon it might not have reviews show up on first page. I've noticed they've started focusing more on "verified purchase" reviews.
I'd write Brave Chronicle, but I was only so-so on that one and would rather a more positive review was there before I add a middling one.

@the-green-death
I would encourage you to post the one for Brave Chronicle too, even if you didn't think it was the greatest book you've ever read. Average reviews are in some ways even more important than the 5 star ones because they say, "I'm a real human who read this book!"Thanks so much for posting your reviews of the other two! I hope you enjoyed the Kurisu piccture!

@SpaceWooser I agree. Sometimes I look at a page and see 5 star, 5 star, 5 star, I go to read the reviews and they have no negatives at all (or even worse "I read the manga / I watched the anime, but haven't read the novel"). Makes me more weary than one 3 star review. =P

Reviewed Brave Chronicle (3) and Occultic Nine (5). I'll try to remember to do big sister later as it did make me laugh quite a bit (it's a solid 4 star and if I could buy more premium credits i'd pick it up for my library hint)

@SpaceWooser Cool, added a middling review for Brave Chronicle. I'll happily keep writing reviews for all I finish. It's fun!

Is it ok to link reviews here? I'm not writing for an outlet or anything, just for fun.
Grimgar
Here's my review so far (I might edit some more stuff in when I'm less tired). The last few chapters really hit home for me with some of the messages.

I put some slightly edited versions up on Amazon (more general audience stuff, like saying "Cartoon Girls" before "Moe", though I kept the meat and potatoes). :potato: :meat_on_bone:

@Terrence Sure, thanks!
Need more amazon reviews though...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but I just noticed my review for Occultic Nine (and the other persons review for that one) are no longer showing up on Amazon. I can look at my account and see it but when I search the eBook it lists 0 reviews...
I also noticed you have the dreaded "Light Novel reviews getting lumped with manga reviews" curse with Grimgar. It took over a year for them to mostly fix that with Yen Press and their titles (DANMACHI, etc), hope it can be fixed more easily for you.
-
@the-green-death I noticed this as well and have sent a mail to Amazon asking for clarification...
The ASIN didn't change or anything so I have no idea why they suddenly all disappeared. Maybe because they weren't "verified purchase" reviews?
Sometimes with Amazon I feel we've traded "Big Box" for "Black Box".

The reviews are back up for Occultic Nine.
-
@Terrence It was some kind of technical glitch on amazon's part. When I brought it to their attention they fixed it.

Hello all. I just found the site and joined a couple days ago. Once I catch up on the available releases and acquire the books I will make certain to go place my reviews.

Mixed Bathing is up on Amazon, and my review feels pretty lonely. Don't forget to add yours guys. x)
