Request: Reviews for Titles

Hey guys-
Our first batch of books is out, and we need YOUR help to make sure people know about them!
If you've bought the books and like them, or even if you don't like them, we would really appreciate it if you would post a review on Amazon, Kobo, or any other sites. This is really critical for us, and you, because we're trying to make sure that these first books succeed, so that we can go to the Japanese companies and convince them that bringing you guys more novels to read is something they should be doing!As a thank you in advance for posting a review, I've attached a photo of a tiny Kurisu from Steins;Gate holding a can of Dr. Pepper and saying, "Take all my Dr. Peppers" at the bottom of this post. I saw it on twitter yesterday and it's the greatest thing ever. It's very cute, but please don't look at until you've posted a review! We're going on the honor system here, so no peeking!

I haven't decided which premium book to read, but rest assured I'll be reviewing some on Goodreads. Tracking my progress in Siskan right now on its Goodreads page.
Edit: I'll add my reviews to Amazon too (or some slightly edited down version of them). That's an easy enough place to put them up.

Thanks! GoodReads is great, but Amazon is where we really need them now. People are sadly much less likely to buy a title that's got no reviews on it, for the same reason you'd be reluctant to try an empty restaurant.
We know we've got hundreds of readers, lots of whom enjoy these novels, so it would help a lot if you could let people know!

I reviewed Occultic and Big Sister. As I bought them here rather than Amazon it might not have reviews show up on first page. I've noticed they've started focusing more on "verified purchase" reviews.
I'd write Brave Chronicle, but I was only so-so on that one and would rather a more positive review was there before I add a middling one.

I would encourage you to post the one for Brave Chronicle too, even if you didn't think it was the greatest book you've ever read. Average reviews are in some ways even more important than the 5 star ones because they say, "I'm a real human who read this book!"Thanks so much for posting your reviews of the other two! I hope you enjoyed the Kurisu piccture!

@SpaceWooser I agree. Sometimes I look at a page and see 5 star, 5 star, 5 star, I go to read the reviews and they have no negatives at all (or even worse "I read the manga / I watched the anime, but haven't read the novel"). Makes me more weary than one 3 star review. =P

Reviewed Brave Chronicle (3) and Occultic Nine (5). I'll try to remember to do big sister later as it did make me laugh quite a bit (it's a solid 4 star and if I could buy more premium credits i'd pick it up for my library hint)

I put some slightly edited versions up on Amazon (more general audience stuff, like saying "Cartoon Girls" before "Moe", though I kept the meat and potatoes). :potato: :meat_on_bone:

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings but I just noticed my review for Occultic Nine (and the other persons review for that one) are no longer showing up on Amazon. I can look at my account and see it but when I search the eBook it lists 0 reviews...
I also noticed you have the dreaded "Light Novel reviews getting lumped with manga reviews" curse with Grimgar. It took over a year for them to mostly fix that with Yen Press and their titles (DANMACHI, etc), hope it can be fixed more easily for you.

@the-green-death I noticed this as well and have sent a mail to Amazon asking for clarification...
The ASIN didn't change or anything so I have no idea why they suddenly all disappeared. Maybe because they weren't "verified purchase" reviews?
Sometimes with Amazon I feel we've traded "Big Box" for "Black Box".

@Terrence It was some kind of technical glitch on amazon's part. When I brought it to their attention they fixed it.
