The Gochiusa 4koma manga was licensed to Sol Press, which published 1 volume before bankrupt.
Given the popularity and curing ability of the series, I would suggest the series should be rescued.
However, instead of rescuing the original series, I think there is a better choice.
The Complete Blend edition of the GochiUsa manga, meant for collection purpose, is a more fine tuned edition, featuring color pages and new cover illustrations, that I believe can attach more interest from customers for collection purpose than the original edition.
Hence I think this could be a good choice for J-Novel Club to expand into the manga business.

True, the anime was successful, one of my favorites even. And I don't doubt the manga is very successful in Japan. But I have a hard time seeing the 4-koma format finding success here in the West. Perhaps I'm wrong and there's a market, but I was surprised when Sol Press did license it.

Seeing as 4- panel is basically Japan's equivalent of the comics section that used to be found in US newspapers... That may or may not be an issue.

That said, I find that unless it's something like Dillbert, it generally only works if the contents is more of a side story than the main story. (Such as Kanna's Daily Life and its relationship with Dragon Maid)

I’m not a huge fan of 4-koma but Azumanga seemed to do well enough back in the day.

Yen Press got the publication right of Omnibus edition of K-On! after geting the main series printed, which must indicate there are quite a bit of demand and quite a bit of success.

Machikado Mazoku from Seven Seas also appears to be doing well with a relatively packed release schedule of available volumes

I personally am really fond of 4-koma series and Yen Press and Seven Seas have a fair number of them such as New Game!, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, The Demon Girl Next Door and Kin-iro Mosaic so there must be a market for them.

I would love to see Is the order a rabbit rescued. I would be happy to have the original series rescued and given that only one volume having been released by Sol Press I think it would be just as successful as this one. That said ideally it would be nice to have both versions of the series. I would happily repurchase the first Volume if it got rescued. Same thing applies for Blend S that Sol Press also had the license for.

Reading Bocchi the Rock recently reminded me how much I love 4 panel manga and with the news that J-Novel has rescued what I think is the last of the Sol Press light novel licenses (Chivalry of a Failed Knight) I really hope they look towards Sol Presses manga to rescue as well now.
As far as I know they don't haven't done a 4 panel manga yet so I am really hoping they try it by rescuing both Is the Order a Rabbit? and Blend.S.
They have been doing a great job with This Art Club has a Problem so I think they would be able to pull of that kind of manga as well.

.... and yes I have made this comment on both the Is The Order a Rabbit? topic as well as the Blend.S one... I really want them both to be rescued.
