There are some series that picked my curiosity, I'll keep mu fingers crossed that the execution is good and they aren't filled woth tropes I find annoying.

Honestly just feels like more of the same of what we already have. I just went through the releases and I've already forgotten that most of them were.

But I've no doubt that's the most profitable way to do things, and if the company makes bank off of series like this, then it probably helps offset when they do stretch a little for a less cookie cutter title.

So, as always, even if the majority of what gets licensed is all stuff I can't imagine going out of my way to read, I still hope that it all does well and finds a happy audience!

Anyway, quite please with this announcement. One series I want to read for sure and two others that sound very interesting.

Can't wait to hear about the AX announcements (hopefully someone can provide live commentary so we can get the announcements in discord in near real time again this year)

I've tried most of them, and enjoyed what I saw but hope for the next announcement to include continuing volumes of some titles whose last book was published 6 months or more ago.

@Betenoire JNC's licensing announcements are for new series to their service. It is not typically used to mention securing a new volume in a series they've already licensed (has happened on some rare occasions, but not normal behaviour).

Oh wow. I guess I really have been too busy with work the past few of weeks. Never saw this news until today.

Excited that Hero & the Sage is licensed! I enjoyed the (fan-translated) manga and was looking forward that somebody would license the LN. I'll check that out soon.
