@joshua1987 your image has failed to upload, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. The next volume up for translation released on the 25th December 2023. The previous translator stepped down after that volume, so they'll need to grab someone new for it, but it's unclear if that'll be the same person who replaced them on the Lucia and the Loom spinoff. So it's ongoing in Japan, and should resume translating at some point later this year.

Plus they usually don't confirm new statuses of titles at J-Novel until they are sure for business reasons.
Hopefully they continue soon. I was assuming they might start after the new Lucia book, but that also might not be the case.
In the meantime, I am continuing my r-read. I don't believe I read volume 8 yet, I got really behind on reading during volume 7 because of real life stuff. Maybe I will make it for volume 9, time will tell. It's been a while since I read so I want to do the re-read anyway. Currently volume 4 (almost done, got distracted this week) and onto volume 5, etc.

Yeah, I just finished volume 8 - the afterward didn't seem to imply there were any issues with volume 9, however.

No, I mean it released in Japan last year.

@elkensteyin I have purchased all the Dahlia and Lucia books so far but am currently working on either catching up or re-freshening my memory with re-reads.
I have been watching the anime and so far it's volume 1 but I have a feeling it might do a time jump soon. But not sure. So more reading. Perhaps I will make a new thread about this later to discuss further.

Just as a general matter, please see the stickied post about new streaming volumes:

Actually, I think Dahlia is on hiatus because Hisaya Amagishi is currently working on the Lucia spinoff series

@elkensteyin v3 of Lucia released on the same day in Japan as v9 of Dahlia (25th December, 2023). Dahlia has since had a short story collection and v10 release, and v11 recently got announced for November. Lucia hasn't had a v4 scheduled.
I'm unsure why JNC has put it on their hiatus tag, but it's not related to what volumes the author is working on in Japan.

I just saw that the hiatus tag has been removed from Dhalia. Not sure why, but hope it has a positive portent.

GerorgeMTO reply to that on the 2nd post this treat.
The translator stepped out. so was in "hiatus" because they have no more translator for following volumes.
I asume the translator from the Spin off (lucia...) had take the job to continue with the main series until Vol 4 of the Spin off.
