Do you read using Books on your Apple device? If so, they did update the application somewhat recently and it's fairly different from how it was previously. That's not something JNC can control, though; our ebook format hasn't changed for years.

I'm honestly not sure that JNC wants to get into the whole business of tipping out since that leads to taxation implications which I'm sure they're currently not set up to deal with.

Gifting coins might be something that could happen eventually. A lot of users have asked for the ability to gift memberships and things to other users, it's just not something that can easily be worked out until they've had a chance to fully upgrade all the systems that run the web site. Once such a gifting system was set up, there wouldn't really be anything stopping you from gifting coins to staff (though such a system would have to have a mechanism to allow the recipient to accept or reject the gift).

@drocks Can you include a screenshot? I see the button to switch just fine on my iPhone, so this might be a problem specific to iPads.

Just make sure there's a tag for 'head pats'...

@Boi2 From my experience with the Android App (website may behave differently): if you simply open a 100% read part (loading the beginning of the part), but do not scroll before leaving it, it won't reset your progress (quite a useful feature in case of accidental clicks). If the website works the same way, the scenario in your edit above wouldn't reset progress.

I also would like to have something similar for the web browser. I am using a Windows tablet and face the same issues.

If you're using the app, you can go over to the series page and just uncheck the filters and the default view shows series in order of licensing with the most newly licensed series appearing first in the list.

Not wery b/w e-ink friendly :) Now it's at least possible to navigate to color images on a different (color) device.

Also I usually edit JNC epubs and move color incerts to the front. It helps to know how characters look and named etc and that's how it's in Japanese versions.

For the VTuber series I think that was the best option. Generally I am happy for translators to use their own judgement but I'd like to be told about any interesting elements which might have been lost in translation, either through posts in the forum (which VTuber did a good job of and which I see quite a lot of for Bookworm) or in TL notes at the end where justified (which is sometimes seen from JNC in the premium content for reference-heavy series such as VTuber and My Big Sister Lives in a Fantasy World)
