@chaoschaud Like many other JNC bugs, this one was here like forever. In my experience it's normally caused by browser switching between IPv4 and IPv6 (the error details should even
list both iircshow one of them) and app failing to authorize because of that, though in my case it wasn't happening very consistently. You can probably work around it by disabling IPv6. -
Volume 5 Chapter 1 of the Infinite Dendrogram manga is member-locked. All the other first chapters of the manga are available as per usual, but it's greyscaled and labeled like a locked chapter, and clicking on it diverts you to the membership registration page.
I'm using Windows 10, Google Chrome.

Not sure if this has been reported yet, since I didn’t want to read several hundred posts here...
On account creation failure, the account appears to be created anyway in a failed state, preventing future use of that same username and email address. It took me several tries to get my account created correctly, and I had to add a tag to my email (myemail+jnovel2@gmail.com) and use this username to get my account created correctly after my original email, my other email, and my first attempt at adding a tag all failed for some reason or another (including “Username already in use” errors due to my first failed creation with that other username)
I tried at least once on Chrome in Windows, and at least once on Safari for iPhone. This was a day or two before this account was created.

Are there any subscription problems right now? Website is not recognizing my sub. Can read on mobile though. Tried on Firefox, Chrome and Edge. My subscription was billed last July 10 according to my CC issuer.

I know what the issue is, due to a security issue I had to wipe all google account associations, so some people who sign in with Google may have new accounts created (tell-tale random characters at the end of the username) if their account email doesn't match the Google mail

Just sent the mail. Yeah, the numbers at the end was weird as well as my account being new when I know I have visited the forums previously.

Pre-ordering premium ebooks does not always work from the end-of-chapter page. Well, it's been a long time since it DID work, I'll just say it's broken.
As an example, today Bookworm P3V2 showed the "Premium Ebook" button at the end of the part 2. Clicking on that button went no where useful; a blank page.
To actually pre-order, I have to go back to the chapter's main page, https://j-novel.club/c/ascendance-of-a-bookworm-part-3-volume-2-part-2 , then scroll through the "buy" options to find "READ PREPUB NOW" button for P3V2, click on THAT, which takes me to https://j-novel.club/v/ascendance-of-a-bookworm-part-3-volume-2 , which displays the various pre-order links (only when the pre-order date has been set). The pre-order link there works...
The problem seems to be in the "mypage/redeemCredit" page. I can't give you a link for Bookworm since I've already placed the order, but it is similar to https://j-novel.club/mypage/redeemCredit?title=a-wild-last-boss-appeared-volume-2-part-1 .
It's been like this for over a year, but the work around of going back to the chapter main page has continued to work, and it wasn't COMPLETELY annoying. But, if you're sniffing around for things to fix...

@SomeOldGuy Additional information.
The end-of-part page includes the part number in the link, i.e., https://j-novel.club/mypage/redeemCredit?title=i-shall-survive-using-potions-volume-5-part-3 . If the link is shortened to remove the "-part-3", it works. The page generator is including information in the URL that the target page cannot deal with, resulting in a blank page when the link is clicked.
However! If you do that, the target page doesn't notice if you've already pre-ordered, so it will go through all the motions of the transaction. The end-of-part page should have said the book was already in my library, but didn't. I wasn't paying attention, so I don't know if I ended up apply a second credit agains Potions v5.

@John-Hackett Looks like it was a problem with the upload. I was able to replicate the error you saw. I reuploaded the epub and got it to work, so it should be fine now.

The title is region-locked and geolocation sucks. You can make sure that's the case by trying other titles unavailable in Japan (e.g. bakarina or beast head) or looking at response to /partData request in browser's developer tools.
If you're not in Japan try changing IP address or maybe email support and/or someone in particular and provide them with IP.

I just bought a year's premium sub for the first time and NOW I find out some items are region locked?
Does that mean I can't buy the premium from the site if I like it? I know Amazon doesn't give a crap where I live....yeah, Bakarina is locked for me, too. WTH
I'm REALLY starting to rethink my sub... or I would be if I hadn't been reading other prepubs just fine all weekI'm reading too many LNs to fit the titles into 255 chars >.<

As far as I know, Ichijinsha doesn't allow JNC to distribute translated versions of their novels in Japan
Which are:

- The Tales of Marielle Clarac
Novels licensed from all other publishers don't have this limitation
