      I get similar errors trying to read ANY of this LNs links (even when spelled correctly)

        The title is region-locked and geolocation sucks. You can make sure that's the case by trying other titles unavailable in Japan (e.g. bakarina or beast head) or looking at response to /partData request in browser's developer tools.

        If you're not in Japan try changing IP address or maybe email support and/or someone in particular and provide them with IP.

          Yeah, I live in Japan.
          I just bought a year's premium sub for the first time and NOW I find out some items are region locked?
          Does that mean I can't buy the premium from the site if I like it? I know Amazon doesn't give a crap where I live.

          ...yeah, Bakarina is locked for me, too. WTH
          I'm REALLY starting to rethink my sub... or I would be if I hadn't been reading other prepubs just fine all week

            As far as I know, Ichijinsha doesn't allow JNC to distribute translated versions of their novels in Japan

            Which are:

            • Apparently it's My Fault That My Husband Has The Head of a Beast
            • Bibliophile Princess
            • My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!
            • The Tales of Marielle Clarac

            Novels licensed from all other publishers don't have this limitation

              Ah, crap, Marielle Clarac too? That and Bakarina make two series I've been buying regularly on Amazon and one (Biblio) I was hoping to start reading this week. Its not as if I can buy an English translation just cause I live here. Reading the Japanese LN takes me too darn long to stay immersed at my E.S. kanji level. Well, if the list is actually that short (4 series) I'm no longer worried about getting my money's worth. I hope the website still lets me use credits for these and its just the prepubs/catchup that are locked out. Otherwise I'll just have to continue snagging digital releases from Amazon.com site.

                It certainly did give a crap when I tried to buy US-only LN once.
                As for JNC releases, they try to post it Internationally and you may even be able to try getting it from amazon.com, but Ichijinsha titles aren't available on .co.jp. You can probably get premium epub too because geoblock doesn't exist or easier to bypass.

                  I have US credit card and US address so easy to purchase digital content from the US site despite my IP. I don't actually have a JP cc but its easy to pick up a giftcard for the JP site at any conbini -- mostly I use this for physical goods, tho. I can't use sites like CR due to geocrap but I've never tried to use any SW to avoid that. I try to support the folks that make my hobbies easy to access where I can.

                  It was NOT a fun discovery to find out about the locking after subscribing, tho. If I'd discovered that on the first day I'd probably have been smashing on a chargeback button, but I've already read like 4 entire prepub novels this week. I'd MUCH rather be reading on my Kindle than my phone or PC, so I'll surely continue to purchase on release, if only to reread later.

                        @Caerold maybe you can use VPN? I have bank accounts in Indonesia and Australia, and in order to buy digital products in the country that I'm not physically in at the time, sometimes I need to use VPN to access the country-specific site of the seller.

                          I find the idea of using VPN for this reason to be somewhat noxious. I know it's a lifeline for people living in some parts of the world, but I've never needed it, and on most sites that I've used where I might have benefited from VPN it's against the TOS. I was able to preorder the premium books I wanted (Marie Clarac 4, Bakarina 7) using my credits, so as long as the D/Ls go through when they're released, I don't mind losing the ability to read the prepubs. They pretty much cost themselves a sale on a series I hadn't been able to read, though. I'd probably be devouring Biblio if I'd been allowed to start reading it. I already dropped an extra $60 on credits to preorder all the other stuff I've been reading this week.

                            Whenever I read manga, the page at the end of the update is missing the "Discuss on the forums!" bit.

                            My browser looks like this:

                            (I actually have the same issue when reading manga on the mobile website, although I don't know whether the text is supposed to be there or not do to screen size restrictions. I can edit this post with my phone's info if this is also a bug.)

                              I am trying to purchase "Fushi no kami: Rebuilding Civilization Starts With a Village" volume 1, but despite having 2 credits, when I click redeem it said I had no credits. I just retried and now 2 of the 3 credits I just bought disappeared. this is a bad bug that's 12 dollars that just disappeared from my account.

                              I use the latest Firefox on an Asus laptop running Windows 10.

                              I clear my cashe every 2-3 days so that shouldn't be an issue.

                              I also run Noscript 11.1.1, but I only block google-analytics.com and stripe.com on J-novel, so I don't think it's that either.

                              I hope this helps and can be fixed.

                                  @draconis72000 Fushi no Kami volume 1 prepub ended today. You've probably pre-ordered the volume but until it is actually out you won't be able to download it. The second credit disappearing sounds indeed like a bug though, so send an email just like @Rahul-Balaggan said.

                                    When I attempted to register on this website's home page I was asked to confirm using the verification email. The problem is that the verification email has never arrived (I have tried 4 times). The main login does not work, stating that I need to complete the verification email.

                                    Meanwhile the same login to the forums does work?

                                    An email to support@j-novel.com about this was also not answered.

                                    Using Safari 13.1.2

                                            Hi, I have purchased Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest: Volume 1 using Premium. When I open the file it is Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash level.6 Towards a Glory Not Worth Taking.

                                            I have tried three different times: macOS 15.7 with Safari 14.0.1; iPadOS 14.2 with Safari; and finally with macOS 15.7 using Firefox 83.
