Report (old) App Bugs Here!

This is definitely a known issue. I just change the margins or whatever (the three line button) and click apply, and that works too (and doesn't force you to blind yourself with the white or Sepia backdrop).
It shouldn't work like that obviously, so I hope they fix it.
-
I also have the issue where the paragraph before an image is being skipped using the Android app. This can make the novel a bit difficult to understand so hopefully we will see it resolved in the near future.

This is about the beta, so I know that it's still under construction, but I thought I might as well write it here for now. I tried searching for an already existing thread, but couldn't find one, so I'm sorry if somebody has already created a thread about this.
Whenever I try to read a pre-pub part in the app (with night-mode enabled) the whole page turns black. For the text to show up again, I usually need to change the background to the white or beige mode. (only tested with Ao Oni Vol 5 part 11-13)
This isn't a very big problem, but sure is annoying.
Edit: Changing the background to a lighter and then back to the dark one, also makes the chapter progress go back to 0%
Will this bug be fixed soon? It's annoying as hell

Oh, thanks for the tip!

Noticed this also a few times. As a random guess, it might be due to a missed line break, br/ or CRLF in the content before the image... In that case, it could be automated to check for those before releasing. Same with the random NP and \NP or whatever.

Hi!
I use as Boyue Likebook Mars e-reader (Android 6 tablet with e-ink screen) and I've found a few device-specific glitches that make using the app more difficult than it should.
It's super specific and I understand probably low priority compared to devices used by many customers, but here we go :)
1> Please add "tap" page turns as the e-ink's slow refresh rate makes the "slide" page mechanic difficult. Being able to tap on the edge of the page to turn like most e-reader software would be a nice changed.
2> The reader control panel is hard to "pull down" from the top. it works some of the time but not others, being able to access it with another gesture (pull down w/o being right at the top of the screen or tapping a certain area) would also be a great help.
Otherwise, so far so good, I hate reading off of LCD screens so this is the best way for me to enjoy your products.
Thanks for listening :)

Some are more used to split page layout or two-page layout and while I usually read in scrolling mode I found paged layout and flipping with volume buttons to be more convenient when reading one-handed. Web reader doesn't even have a scrolling layout.

There's no pull-down, at all. You can swipe the top area (not necessarily swipe down) but that's just registered as a tap. I don't see why would you need that menu to be super-easily-accessible, though ("because the app is broken af" isn't a really valid reason).

The problem at least with the device I'm using is it doesn't have any buttons except the power/standby so the only page flip method available for horizontal reading is the swipe. If there was a tap gesture it was help a lot. The "Gravity" of swiping right to left to turn pages doesn't translate well on the slow screen and pages often pop back instead of move forward.

Mostly I was looking to see if I could address issues with page flipping in the menu and it seemed the only way to get it was to pull it down. I've verified it can be brought up with a tap, so no longer an issue.

hi there the app was working fine in the morning but it keeps signing me out now after every 5 mins i have to relogin i am using it on ios
-
now i am not able to login the app at all

Is there any word on when they are going to update the app to get rid of that annoying bug where almost every single picture is missing a paragraph before it on iOS? They had a test app that expired working for several months.
Today was really bad because the website was very problematic so it was really hard to verify what paragraph was missing whenever I saw a picture.
-
I'm on a Lenovo Tab 4 10" and when I have night mode on and I go into a chapter the whole thing is black. No text appears. When I am in day mode the chapters function normally. I can get night mode to function if I switch the text between side scroll and vertical scroll and apply, so it's still usable, but it is a bit of a nuisance having to make changes in order for the chapter to appear, especially since I primarily use night mode.
I should mention I just got an update today, it's been doing it for a while but I thought i might get fixed with the next update., so I waited to mention it.

There is a new beta available via TestFlight, so you should get another 90 days of working app at a minimum.

@rtwpsom2 I posted about that bug two months ago & that was in response to someone else that posted about it before me.
I can only assume they don't have the resources to fix it right now, or they just don't care. :(
Unfortunately, the 3rd party app I was using is broken now too, I think due to some back-end changes, so I'm just dealing with it.
-
@guspaz Sweet thanks, I need to go find the test app invite so I can get access to it now.

K found it, here is the link for those who don't want to look and are looking in this thread:
