@verdelishjp Glad it peaks your interest! Didn't know the second volume's coming at the end of this month. Was tempted to read beyond volume1 on syosetu but held out on that because reading with nothing beats reading an edited work with illustrations :P
On a side note, I browsed your twitter and realized you're the translator of "Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome"! I love that game. As a straight man it's the only otome game (VN) I ever played because my steam friend insisted the games hilarious and they were right

FLML definitely has a somewhat broader appeal than most other otome games. Likewise, I think this LN could sell to a similarly broad demographic. Granted, I haven't read very far yet, but I think it could be popular both with guys who aren't familiar with otome games beyond "games for girls," as well as with otome fans who are curious to read about the average guy's reaction to their favorite genre (e.g. me, lol).

i caved and read the fan translation of Vol 1 and all i can say is, THIS IS GOOD!
absolutely enjoyable enough that id rank it close to Bakarina level fun (and not just cause of the Otome Game setting) -
The manga version for this novel is at around 1/3 of the first novel. Too bad it's untranslated

Volume 3 be will out this month and it's mentioned there are exclusive bonus chapters for physical volume at particular store as well. This is why I wanted J-novel to license this so bad to get them exclusive chapters...

This novel have limited physical store exclusive short stories edition, and they were pretty much impossible to buy or read oversea. I'm particularly interested in the If-route for a certain character in volume 3And j-novel.club IS the only localization company that care enough to include those in compiled ebook. 😅😅
Alternatively, if anyone know some way to get their hand on store exclusive short stories from oversea then please let me know. I'll tank the shipping fee if it comes to that.

@santi-brathana I recommend looking up the series via japanese auction sites. You can use them via proxy services and a lot of people sell store bonuses like the stories. You can also check the publisher's site for potentially a list of which retailers got which bonuses and see if they're still available or if they were pre-order only bonuses.
