Ahgg, these Survival / Death Game Lightning Bunko releases on sale on Bookwalker are tempting, but I've got enough books I'll probably never read. I hope someday this Kadokawa stuff comes over.

@terrence Can I request that you at least include a summary of the series? You're just hotlinking images with no explanation and not even a link back to the page you got them from, and a huge portion of the last few pages of this thread have been just that. Those mecha books don't even have a title, it's just "look at the pretty cover." I'd like to be able to say "oh, that series sounds interesting" and support your picks, but I'm typically not in the mood to go image hunting for an indeterminate amount of time just to find out I'm not even interested in that book at all.

It's a bit more work, but I'll try. Reverse Image search still an option for the older posts if you're interested in those works and I don't put the BW link.
I don't like reading descriptions all the time because they can spoil things, which is why I don't always share them, so sometimes I do just go by the pretty covers and genre to choose a series. And I tend to like short series, so if you like 10 plus volume series, I won't be your guy. I'd say 3-6 volumes is ideal.

Also, I've been reading the VN with fanslation, but it'd be nice to have an official White Album 2 release stateside in some form, like these LNs. This is a real world, romance triangle story that has multiple endings in the VN, and it gets really emotional (some people say it's the most "real" visual novel for adults to take in).

@yagostudart it's a Fujimi Shobo property which means it's owned by Kadowawa, so as of now no J-Novel has no access.

@drone205 well it is interesting, but was this series published recently? I have nothing against this Light Novel, I'm just kind of tired of jumping into Series that just started getting serialize (in Japan) when I'm in the middle of series that at least have five or six volumes.

This girl has a Nintendo DS... As an integral part of her character I guess for it to be on two covers (Dengeki Bunko / Kadokawa, so don't get your hopes up; Bookwalker has a sale on that label, so it's really "in your face" right now).

@terrence Not the first time I saw a Light Novel fantasy cover with a character holding a nintendo DS. Although, I don't know which Light Novel had that type of cover first.

I posted about the mecha Dowl Masters a while back, it has a 5th volume up for preorder.
(Kadokawa publishes iirc, so again, don't get your hopes up for it).

It's previous volume 4 release was 2016, so that's some proof that successful series with no new volumes for a year plus can still continue.

These are next to 'Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter' my absolute favorite 'villainess noble girl' novels. They are both really great and absolutely worth reading and I totally hope they will get picked up! (While you read the second novel you really get the urge to begin sewing and create dolls too.)
