@legitpancake if JNC switches to a point system then they have two ways of going about this for the differences between Premium and normal. The points stay the same price regardless but the books are cheaper by some percentage, like 15% - 20% (since it is about 15% off from 7 ->6 it makes sense to stick with 15%) if you are premium. Another is the price of points is less for premium like 1 dollar is worth 115 - 120 points. though I prefer the first option of the books are cheaper over the points are cheaper even if it this option is easier to "break" and just go premium when you buy books. I do think since it is like 5.50 - 6.00 dollars more than normal and if it does go to the point system where 100 points equal 1 dollar than Premium should get at least 700 points per and not 600.

So I've been looking at this GA Bunko label work today since it is on Syosetu as well. This one is notable because it is a completed work at 3 volumes.

"I Do Not Need Cheat In the New Game!"

So the title had me thinking it's an Isekai.. but it seems it's about a guy who lives in a fantasy world, lives to the age of 70 with regrets, but then some force rebirths him (out of the center of his own body no less, puncturing a hole in the corpse) as a 20 yr old and he just gets to continue life as his younger self in the same world.

        I don't know, I'll keep reading.

Edit: Leg Mimic is out officially in LN form in Japan. The red head with the high-heels on the cover is indeed the "Leg Mimic" (there's a black and white insert with the treasure chest replacing her face). Dunno when she gets to show off a human face. Will have to continue the Syosetu there too.

I would like to suggest Ore wo Suki Nano wa omae dake ka yo.
The title's translation is roughly "Are you only one who likes me?" It is a romantic comedy with a twist. MC deliberately acts as a "dense harem MC" to get the attention of his childhood friend and Student President. MC thinks he captured their love flags and gets call from both of them. Turns out that they are both fell in love with MC's best friend and wants his help to get his best friend. He decides to help both of them so he can scoop up the girl that got rejected.

Surprisingly, MC in this LN is actually likeable despite his first scummy impression and the drama resulting from MC helping both of them is fun to watch. It helps that the publisher is not Kadokawa, so you guys will have easier time licensing the series. There are currently 8 volumes out in Japan, so it won't take too long to translate all of them.

I hope you consider this LN series, J-Novel Club!

@terrence Heh, I've read the few manga adaptation chapters for that series and

I'll stay in the dark and not read the spoiler. Blissful ignorance about getting my glasses wearing wife even if it kills m... Well, not that far maybe.

I'm a little bit cautious of this other one since she seems to dump the glasses halfway through. Respect the megane!

I feel like the girl on volume 8 is a new character, going by the art. Her hair has a different colored shine to it, and she has an ahoge. Always possible it's the same person, but I'm betting on not.

I think it is the same person, just she's doing something weird with her hair and sheen in the light, but if you need more evidence that she ditched her glasses.

@terrence While I accept this new evidence towards your charge, I still think the cover of book 8 shows someone else.

Motion sustained. But if the defense would please look at the eyes on volumes 7 and 8, I think you will see a match in color and general eye / Iris shape. Please note the glossy shine coming off her hair to the right of the book to indicate lighting change. I rest my case your honor.

As the volume numbers get higher, she changes like a gradual make over.

The description has got me interested. Love dodecahedrons are better than just triangles or harems any day. (old Ranma 1/2 fan here - Akane best girl in the manga, the anime ruined her & made the others less sociopathic/more sympathetic)

Kadokawa owns most of LNs lines/companies you might think of:
                                -Famitsu Bunko (Enterbrain)
                                -Media Factory including Novel 0
-ASCII Media Works (owns Dengeki Bunko)
                                -Kadokawa Books
                                -Fujimi Shobo
                                -Kadokawa Shoten
                                -Dengeki Bunko
and I'm probably missing other names

I still wouldn't avoid posting Kadokawa stuff. Gives others ideas for what to request elsewhere (Bookwalker / Yen Press, post to social media) and gives JNC an idea of what type of story / characters you are looking for.

Well, there ain't that much variety within the companies that JNC deals with aside from Kodansha (even though, JNC can't license but Kodansha LIGHTNOVEL titles) and they only licensed 3 titles so far and they are isekai (it feels like wasted potential when they have access to a big publisher and they don't pick up titles of different genres)

Did they license GA Bunko? They have some variety too iirc.

I do wonder if there are other small pubs they can approach. I know Sam was a bit against going the Web Novel localization route because it can be seen as a bit sneaky (at least, if you're a new pub).

Nothing from GA, Shogakukan, Seikaisha(Kodansha company), Takarajimasha(Kono Light Novel ga sugoi bunko), Shufunotomosha (Hero Bunko),TO Books, KyoAni(doesn't have digital market so JNC can't deal with them), Alphapolis, Shinchosha, Shueisha and Ichijinsha (Kodansha comapany).

Overlap and Hobby Japan have a few non-isekai and fantasy works but they are either not that good or not that many people know/are interested in.

The point still stands that, while there may currently be limitations today, there's no harm in suggesting any and all titles to build interest in the community and in case things change in the future. Seven Seas did eventually get to-LOVE-ru from Shueisha, so we never know what tomorrow may bring!

Actually, I don't understand Viz at all.
They don't show interest in non-SciFi novel even the very popular ones like Oregiaru and left it for Yen (yet they went along with Vertical's NisiOisiN Boom and put Juni Taisen out) and let Seven Seas have many Ecchi titles.
