Novel pick-up requests

@fozzedout Actually, I wasn't referring to any animation studio in particular. I was sarcastically poking at Kadokawa. There are numerous titles sitting untranslated that are owned by Kadokawa that people here would love to see translated. I was just extending the "umbrella of untranslatability" a little.
-
@terrence Oh hey, Sam is finally updating Curious Cat lol.
Also, that LN looks adorable. Looks to be by Kodansha, so it might be a possibility. -
@terrence I reeeeeally want to read those Gargantia novels, I loved the series. I hope Yen eventually has a digital only LN sub-label where they can be a little more experimental about what they release. If they do this would be a great launch series.
-
@terrence Holy fuck! A family Isekai does exist!

Maybe Bookwalker can take these types of novels off Kadokawa's hands. T.T
Zoa Hunter is a Science based action one I know we'll never get (unless an anime randomly happens) but that I really, really want. That and Novel Zero label stuff.

Random request
The Decision of Isoko Yamamoto
No idea what it's about. But I see harem tag, cute girl on the cover, and a battleship. So sign me up for service @Sam-Pinansky. The author had some bad experience with twitter where they pulled his ad cause of bullshit reasoning. At least, that's how I discovered this series a while back.
-
@aruseus493 I found about this one because of the same twitter fiasco!!! I guess in the end it worked out better for him with the controversy.
-
The more that people are always talking about light novels that are a part Kadokawa, the more depress I am at the reminder that any of those series are most likely never going to get translated.
-
@kite-xx The more we request and buy, the better J-NC comes across and can hopefully become more appealing to Kadokawa.

@aruseus493 I’m not the patient type, but alright.
Having computer problems, so can’t really put up a cover from my phone. Anyone interested in Berserk of Gluttony or Sayounara Ryuusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei

It seems that volume 8 of Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechu (Skeleton Knight, in Another World) is the last one in the series (the main story at least). Or so I read a few minutes ago, and taking a quick look at the afterword that got recently translated it says:
Although the ending seems to imply more to the story, that’s because I wanted “the world continues even if the story concludes” type of atmosphere.
and
The main story of the WEB version is finished, I don’t know if I’ll write a sequel like series, I’m consulting with the people in change, so if there’s a volume IX I hope you’ll support you.
I've seen it mentioned a few times in this topic, not to mention it is from Overlap, so it would be "easy" to get a license for it.

Just to understand, the “skeleton knight” is over, right? “Oooh, for all good things to come to an end! It is such sweet sorrow.”
Sorry there, joking aside, but seriously, it’s over?

@terrence sign me up. Haven’t read a full romance series yet.
-
@aruseus493 I really want to read the first one you mentioned. One day I hope.

here are some that seems like they would be interesting or stuff I would like.

Gosh, I wish someone would translate Hello Work. The Fan Translator stopped translating on the web page due to ... something with some people maybe, but he moved it to Patreon-only. I'm more than willing to buy, but Patreons for fan translations make me uncomfortable, so haven't seen it since.

@drone205 what’s the last one about? Seems like a guardian protecting a child or maybe a father. Also the second one seems like a fun read. Idk but I can see it being a comedy.
