Novel pick-up requests

@kuuderes_shadow Chiyomaru is kind of the reverse Nisio. Too many projects at the same time, some left unfinished. At least his visual novels are always finished products. But he's definitely a workaholic that stretches himself way too far off the initial goalpost.
-
@Jaquobus I ask my friend about Violet Evergarden, and he says that story ends in vol 2. So if someone will license it, it will really make my day better, because this LN is pretty good story wise.
-
Didn't realize that Hagure Yuusha no Kichiku Bigaku had the same publisher as Smartphone does, so throwing my hat for that one too. Seen it mentioned a few times, but a few more mentions probably wouldn't hurt...
-
I'd love to see "Bu ni Mi wo Sasagete Hyaku to Yonen. Elf de Yarinaosu Musha Shugyou" translated, it's an excellent light novel, though very unpopular. It ended recently with 10 volumes, unfortunately.

First, I am not really interested by most of the light novels produced today, and would therefore like to know if you would be interested in some "old school" light novels, some of them partially published in the US before being dropped. I am talking about the likes of Kino no Tabi, Boogiepop, Kara no Kyoukai, Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita and others in the same vein.
I'm super grave-digging here, but seeing Kino and Boogiepop mentioned triggered my nostalgia. I would be happy to see one or both of these series get a little more translation love, even though (as @Sam-Pinansky said) the rights could be a little tricky to navigate.

I would like to request The Princess and the Pilot (とある飛空士への追憶 "Recollections for a Certain Pilot") by Koroku Inumura. This light novel and the subsequent sequel/spinoff light novels is really popular in Japan. It has been addapted into a feature anime film and an anime series for the spinoffs.
I would also recommend the Black Lagoon spinoff light novels. The Anime and manga series of Black Lagoon are popular in both Japan and the US, but the light novel spin offs have never been published in english, so translating them could attract the manga/anime fans to light novels.

This seem like the place to request novels! I'm gonna request a few myself:
Re:Monster
Maken no DaydreamerEh thats about it for now. ;D

Did anyone ask for Akashic Records of the Bastard Magical Instructor yet?
-
Requesting Gamers! Just finished the one currently fan-translated translated volume and I'd love it if this series got licensed. I couldn't help binge reading it throughout the night with how hilarious it is and how kind the God of Romcom is. Checking, my god of Romcoms is Aoi, Sekina. The glorious author behind the harem series which made me who I am today. (Honestly didn't even realize until after I checked.) So yea, license Seitokai no Ichizon while you're at it please.

@Rahul-Balaggan Not just me asked a couple of times :D Seven Seas licensed manga, no idea about LN rights.
-
@Aruseus493 is "Gamers!" worth the read? I thought it was just a LN full of clichés. I think I read the first pages of the manga, it turned me off
"I drowned a fish, killed a dead tree and made medicine sick"
-
@Rahul-Balaggan Now that I've seen the beginning of the anime, this is an LN I definitely want to check out.
I'm an INTJ so I'm always the bad guy.
-
@gocav Sadly the anime is pretty rushed
-
@gocav Hell yeah, the anime really got me hooked right after episode 1, although for the most part I just kept thinking why none of the girls are questioning why they have to have their midriffs showing...not that I am complaining.
@sparhawk6 I wish Seven Seas had released at least 1 volume before the anime aired...
And I felt like the anime was being rushed but that happens so much these days I have gotten used to it.
I still hate how much they cut out of the Danmachi Side Story Sword Oratoria they left out over 25% of the book in episode 1 alone.

Sword Oratoria is a really big fail, I was watching like WTF? They cut so much lol.
First volume of Akashic will be out 22. August I think.
Btw Sam! Give us at least 2 new titles please! The bait is there too long ! :D -
Just a thought. You have licenced two of the three most rated "Overlap" novels on Novelupdates. WHY NOT LICENCE the third one as well, which is the highest rated of all three.
I really hope Long Title clue is for "I Got Reincarnated And Mistaken As A Genius?". The WN translations are pretty much dead but I want to read more :(

@ImIlyaz Honestly, if you take the manga's first chapter at face value, it's super misleading. I'd definitely recommend reading at least the first volume.

That's not it, but I hadn't really taken a good look at that one. Looks funny!
I think I might not like it though since I actually AM a genius and stories like this tend to piss me off for personal reasons.
