I remember he joked about the Vending Machine Reincarnation being in a bidding war... And then it was licensed by Yen Press, so maybe that wasn't a joke.

Another one... I've seen some manga, and would be interested in an official release of the light novel...

I have a couple of suggestions. First one would be Restaurant to Another World. Second one would be Eromanga-sensei. Not very confident about that one, because it's published by Dengeki Bunko and they seem to be super tight with Yen Press.

Been seeing clips of this on Crunchyroll. I don't really get the presentation of the dishes in this one. They're so plain. Like, a baked potato? Really?

@terrence It's a bit of an odd anime. They spent the vast majority of the first eight episodes doing character introductions. I'm wondering if the story is going to start moving soon. The potential is there, but will it be realized?

Watching the last couple of episodes has convinced me, Gamers is something that needs to be licensed. Not to mention it would give this site an actual slice of life series, something it lacks at the moment.

You're forgetting UchiMusume. Also, I wouldn't consider Gamers! to be a slice of life series. -
@aruseus493 Considering Uchi-Musume is based in a fantasy world I wouldn't really catagorize it as slice of life series either and thinking about it Gamers really is more of a romantic comedy than a slice of life series. Though since it lacks any supernatural hi jinks that we see in so many light novels nowadays I would still say it has slice of life elements.

Yeah, they both seem pretty fun - I would definitely read both of these! I had a quick google and they're both Kadokawa though so probably a no-go though from JNC. :(
Edit: I'm sure this has been brought up before but what are the odds of Arcadia Garden being picked up? It's Overlap but has multiple authors (the first volume says there will be 10 authors for the series) so I don't know whether that complicates things or not. I'd like to see more from Kanata Yanagino so I'm interested in this.
