Novel pick-up requests
-
Imouto sae Ireba Ii. - Did read vol 1 and have seen illustrations of next volumes. I am surprised that YP is going for this, because it is pretty lewd. But I like it. XD
Goblin Slayer Year One - Nice one, I like the GS series.
The Hero and His Elf Bride Open a Pizza Parlor - Looks actually interesting, will try it.
Reborn as a Vending Machine, Now I Wander the Dungeon - Will probably try it just for fun
But overall, I am disappointed from YP panel.

The Demon Lord’s building a city! is a refreshing take on the genre. I think it's very entertaining and will be good edition to J-Novel Club
-
So I read Gamers! right now and I'm pleased on how laid back the atmosphere is. Even if the character are savvy enough and it still full of cliche but the way it is carried is really interesting with two POV making it refreshing.
Please pick it. The anime will air too this summer.

Wait, wait, wait. Yen Press announced Maoyuu... Manga. =/

@TooFiveFive said in J-novel licensing manga?:
I think it would be awesome if you guys would simulpub manga on the site as well. I know it'd need new infrastructure but it'd be well worth it. I know the sites called j-NOVEL, but GAMEstop sells smartphones so I don't think that should be deterrent.

Wasn't sure if I put in my requests for June on Seven Seas, so I resubmitted.
Picked the two big anime adapted LNs of the season (HighSchool of the Elite; Knights and Magic) and Maoyuu.
I understand two of the 3 have manga being published by other companies, but hey, that didn't stop J-Novel Club from getting licenses before (Grimgar, Clockwork Planet).
-
@Terrence what's the Japanese name of "high school of the elite"?
-
@Hyferzftw Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e
I've read the first volume but it's not really that good to be honest. Feel like all over the place.
-
@NeoAnkara yeah, I read it too and I loved it. I hope JNC licenses it but I'm sure it's probably complicated licensing LNs.
-
J-Novel Club should start a division called K-Novel Club and license LMS. :smirk:
-
Are there any companies licensing korean novels at all?
-
Should have called it Nippon-Novels. =P
-
@Hakomari
Don't think so unfortunately. -
How about Seiken Tsukai No World Break??
-
@TooFiveFive For that need Sam strike the deal with SB
-
Going through Faraway Paladin rekindle my passion for old school fantasy. Personally, I would want licenses for the likes of:
Kei Sazane stuffs (Sekai Owari no Encore, Hyouketsu Kyoukai no Eden , Tasogare)
Mushi UtaOr something more twisted like
The Pygmalion Is Planting Seeds
-
-
Knights and Magic?
-
@TooFiveFive it's from Shufunotomo, so that's Hero Bunko
At the time of this post JNC is not affiliated with Hero Bunko
