Novel pick-up requests

Really would like to see "Irresponsible Captain Taylor" picked up, it's a really old light novel series that had an old sci-fi comedy anime made from it. The novels continue where the anime left off.

Tbh I'd love to see Unbreakable Machine Doll get picked up. It's a long series so far at 15 volumes and robots in love with humans is entirely my jam.

I definitely second that one, though I don't know too much yet (I'm guessing it'll be more comedy than romance? I can just imagine the scenarios where she ruins things for her son by being there). 😛

I think the guy has a potential harem that the mother will ruin his chances of flirting with. Like, there's a scene in the trailer for the book of the mother
And I could totally see her trying to "help" him, but instead embarrassing him in front of the ladies (like showing them baby pictures, telling them about his hobbies, mussing up his hair before a date).
I hope the mother gets an older romantic partner too, but we'll see if this goes beyond simple pandering.

I remember he joked about the Vending Machine Reincarnation being in a bidding war... And then it was licensed by Yen Press, so maybe that wasn't a joke.

I have a couple of suggestions. First one would be Restaurant to Another World. Second one would be Eromanga-sensei. Not very confident about that one, because it's published by Dengeki Bunko and they seem to be super tight with Yen Press.

Been seeing clips of this on Crunchyroll. I don't really get the presentation of the dishes in this one. They're so plain. Like, a baked potato? Really?

@terrence It's a bit of an odd anime. They spent the vast majority of the first eight episodes doing character introductions. I'm wondering if the story is going to start moving soon. The potential is there, but will it be realized?

Watching the last couple of episodes has convinced me, Gamers is something that needs to be licensed. Not to mention it would give this site an actual slice of life series, something it lacks at the moment.

If people are looking to learn about series that aren't in English to suggest here, Justus R Stone posted a new video on the top selling volumes in Japan for the past week, and there's lots of ones most people have probably never heard of.
I want the craftsmen Isekai, and the one with the 40 year old dude. xD
